Escape to the serene beauty of Maine with this unique vacation rental on the shores of the pristine crystal-clear water. Ideal for families, your kids will think you are super cool with their own private yurt! It provides the perfect combination of comfort and nature. Swim out to the float, wade in the water on the sandy beach, or watch the sunset from the fire pit with s'mores.
You are close to hiking, shopping and amenities, but may not want to leave the beauty and serenity of the lake!
This is NEW! to our company, but has a good history of renting to many happy families over the past couple of years.
The cabin has plenty of supplies to cook for your family, and an AC for those warmer summer days.
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and plenty of storage.
The living room has a pull out couch for 2 guests.
The bathroom has a full shower and lots of daylight.
The yurt is an experience of its own, to make memories of camping but close to the cabin for your comfort.
The lush surroundings provide endless opportunities to swim, fish, watch nature, and get that summer suntan.
** You can rent kayaks locally for your stay.
** Your 1 dog is welcome with preapproval, with a pet fee and pet agreement.
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 25 miles away. Schoodic Point, and downeast Maine are approximately 15 miles. Ellsworth is just 8 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys and more. There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house. Very impressed with the property. Very secluded, and felt like our own private escape. You see some people on the lake but overall it feels very much almost to yourself. More for a couple or very small family. Everything in it is newer so very comfortable. Great place to just get away for a long weekend.

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful cabin on the lake! My boys enjoyed the canvas yurt for sleeping and the views and amenities were perfect for a family retreat! Would definitely return! The kayak rentals were essential for a stay on the lake!
