We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lakeside cabin! The lake views were beautiful, and it was the perfect place to relax after exploring Maine. Our three children loved splashing and playing in the water, and we enjoyed having the one kayak provided for guests to use.The cabin was well stocked with thoughtful essentials like foil, salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and dish and hand soap—something we really appreciated as out-of-town guests. There isn't a dishwasher, which wasn't a big deal for us.The upstairs bedroom is an open loft, so sound carries from downstairs. It's best for whoever plans to stay up the latest. The cabin is about an hour from Acadia and 30 minutes from groceries, so plan ahead. It's off the beaten path, but that's exactly what we loved. We'd happily stay again!
