We loved this place and the quiet vistas. The space had everything you needed to enjoy the outdoors and indoors. Games, naturalist pocket books for stars and animals, brochures, quilts, every kitchen gadget you can think of, a pellet stove, an outdoor gas grill and fire pit, so many items to make it comfortable.
If you stay here, a game we did was counting the number of bears, moose, and the word "cabin" you could find in the decor. We found over 80 bears.
It was dry when we visited, though we could see how one would need 4x4 in the winter or wet/mud season. There is zero cellular in the area, which we wanted but it was nice that the wifi was strong with consistent connection on wifi calling when our pet sitter called with questions.
Not knowing that there were cameras before hand (not in listing) was a little off putting when we were told in the text message checkin instructions. Thankfully, they were positioned only to view the barn and driveway.
We will definitely be returning to this cabin!

We had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. It’s fairly close to the Royal Gorge, which we visited on Saturday. The cabin has WiFi that works great since there is no service in the area. It comes stocked with everything you’d need. The owner is very nice as well and ensured we were comfortable during our stay. Would stay here again!

Debbie was an incredible host! She was quick to answer phone calls, texts, and emails and extremely accommodating to changes. She made the process absolutely stress free.
At night there was not a single light to be seen from the back porch nor a single sound to heard other than one cricket. It is one of the few places of radical beauty, silence, and darkness left. The view of the night sky from the porch cannot be beat. We saw the Milky Way, shooting stars every 10 minutes, the planets, and the most stars we have seen in our lives. The deck is wide enough where you can lay out a sleeping bag and just watch the cosmic drama all night with an unobstructed view of the darkest sky. It was like renting a planetarium. The inside of the house was nice too. Tons of blankets and everything you need.

They say there is nothing ever really perfect, Well I have to say that is a lie. Because PERFECT is the only word I know that can describe this PERFECT place. It was more than my husband and I could have expected.
The Host contacted me before arrival and gave me detailed directions (which by the way is needed) and she made sure we had all the information we needed before arrival. Who does that??? Right!! Only the Best Host Ever. She was available to me my entire stay if I needed anything. She gave me wonderful places to see and explore. They honestly made me/us feel apart of their family, even thou we never physically met them. What this PERFECT place has to offer truly shows the heart of the HOST.
I am already trying to make plans to book this place again!!
