We enjoyed the privacy of a private home, having a yard and a driveway was nice. The hot tub took overnight to heat up, but worked for the rest of the trip. The pool is not heated, so was not used much during our winter stay. The welcome gift was a nice touch, and appreciated.

The pictures really don't do justice to this lovely vacation rental. Plenty of room to cook in the lovely kitchen and eat poolside and relax! The pool is cooler in the winter but a jump in the hot tub or laying outside in the sun is a quick fix.
Stores, restaurants, gas, and supplies are all within 15 minutes! Easily accessible and uncrowded Caspersen Beach is 12 minutes from the house and this lovely home is in a nice family- friendly quiet neighborhood. The main street gets through traffic, but the back yard is wonderful to BBQ. Hanging Spanish moss on large trees makes it a true Floridian dream. Easy to socially distance with lots of room to lounge in this wonderful vacation home.
Maintenance took longer (36 hours) than it should have for a broken tv. Otherwise, we will look forward to visiting again in the future and will recommend it for family and friends! Enjoy

The home was convenient, but not quiet. It is on a main street with much traffic. At night, when vehicles went by, there was a light on the house next door, apparently a motion detector, that flashes right into the two side bedroom windows.
The house itself is in need of a deep clean as the A/C grates in the living room are caked with dust. Also, the windows outside were very dirty and my wife had to clean them all.
The front screen door is broken.
The back fence is broken and held up by boards.
The grill needed to be replaced and we are grateful that was done as well as fresh propane was reimbursed by the rental agent.
The light in the fan on the deck does not work, limiting our evening use of the deck.
Two light bulbs in the guest bath do not work along with the bathroom fan.
There is no hot tub, despite being advertised.
There is an internet camera on the back deck pointing to the table. Unnerving.
The pool is well maintained and we did meet the pool guy who is very nice.
Bottom line, this home is not a value at the advertised rate. However, we do appreciate the financial consideration the rental company provided for the issues encountered.
