About this house rental
THIS CHEERFUL HOME - The Venice Gecko Getaway, is in a perfect location. We are a quick car or a leisurely bike ride from several beaches. Additionally, this home is across the street from Shamrock Park, full of biking and walking trails. Our home features a screened-in lanai with comfy furniture and French doors that open up the area, award winning Casper mattresses, top grain leather furniture, 65" UHD Smart TV w/ Xfinity cable, Hi Speed WiFi and granite countertops. The space
When you enter you will love the high ceilings and open concept living room/dining/kitchen area that gives plenty of space to relax. There is a large dining table that seats eight, a seated bar area and a cozy nook to drink your morning coffee.
We are centrally located in South Venice and very close to grocery stores, movie theaters, beaches and restaurants. We are across the street from Shamrock Park with miles of walking/biking trails that take you along the Intercoastal Waterway, to the beaches in Venice or all the way to Sarasota.
We are 15 minutes away from the brand new Wellen Park development with Atlanta Braves spring training baseball and a fantastic downtown area full of shops and restaurants! You might also enjoy The Venice Fishing Pier, Venice Beach, Legacy Trail and of course Downtown Venice with all of its entertainment choices!

The house is exactly as pictured and we enjoyed all of the spaces. Weather outside was hot and humid, but the house was wonderfully cool; even the lanai was pleasantly shaded and kept cooler with a fan. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and the house had everything we needed for our family with plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and lots of beach stuff. WiFi was speedy and worked equally well throughout the house. The neighborhood is quiet and Shamrock Park couldn’t be any easier to get to with its walking paths and beautiful playground. We would certainly stay here again.
