Recently renovated, the house features 4 bedrooms (with new, high-quality bedding) and 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Fiber-optic internet available
Outside, its two terraces, large garden, and beautiful heated private pool await you for a delightful vacation in the heart of the Périgord’s Golden Triangle.

With a total floor area of 130 m², L’Orée du Château features the following on the first floor:
* A spacious, bright, and cozy living area that opens up to the terrace and pool area through a large picture window. Organized into different areas, the room features:
- a dining area with a beautiful modern wooden table, 8 comfortable chairs, a china cabinet, a small sideboard, and a desk.
- a comfortable living area featuring a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, two ottomans, a coffee table, a TV stand, and a large flat-screen TV.
* Adjacent to the living area, the beautiful kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook all the delicious local products from the Périgord that you’ve picked up at nearby markets: a 4-burner induction cooktop, oven, microwave, large refrigerator/freezer, drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher. There is a generous supply of new, high-quality tableware and all the necessary cooking utensils. The dining area seats four and is perfect for breakfast.
* Separated from the living area by a small hallway—and therefore very quiet—the first double bedroom features a very large bed (180 cm × 200 cm), two bedside tables and lamps, a dresser, and coat hooks.
* Adjacent to the bedroom, the first fully tiled bathroom features an XL walk-in shower, a vanity unit, and a towel warmer.
* A laundry area with a washing machine, ironing board and iron, and storage for coats and shoes is also available.
* A half-bath with a sink completes this level.
From the living area, the beautiful oak staircase leads to the first floor, where the three other bedrooms are located:
* The landing leads to the second double bedroom on the right, furnished with a very comfortable 160cm x 200cm bed, two nightstands, wall-mounted reading lights, a dresser, and coat hooks. It features a large window overlooking the pool area and even offers a view of Beynac Castle!
* Across the hall, the third bedroom features two single beds, two nightstands with bedside lamps, and a dresser.
* The fourth and final bedroom is located on the left, at the end of the hallway. It is furnished with a 160 cm x 200 cm double bed, two small nightstands, wall sconces, and a large walk-in closet in the hallway with hanging space and storage shelves.
* It features its own en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and vanity unit.
* A separate half-bath with a sink also completes this floor.
The house stays cool in the summer thanks to its thick stone walls.
In winter, it is particularly comfortable thanks to a highly efficient electric central heating system.

* Although the living area features two dining spaces, you’ll undoubtedly prefer to enjoy your meals outdoors on the large terrace at the front of the property. Equipped with a large table and seating for 8, its Weber-style grill is just waiting for you to fire it up!
In the height of summer, you’ll enjoy the welcome shade of the mulberry plane trees.
* The patio set—featuring four chairs and a coffee table—is ideal for a lazy afternoon or for enjoying a drink (or two!) while taking in the garden, the pool, and the view of Beynac Castle!
* The spacious garden, covering over 4,000 m², offers children plenty of opportunities to play, including a play structure and a lovely grassy area for soccer games.
* The superb 9×4-meter pool, equipped with four lounge chairs and a beach umbrella, features a submerged roller cover to ensure maximum safety for our young guests. For our guests’ comfort, the pool is heated from mid-April to mid-October.

This property is immaculately presented. Really easy to find and only a few minutes from the River Dordogne. We were a family of adults but kids would love this property too - although if you have little ones be aware that the pool is easily accessible. The host was helpful and flexible with us. We had a great week.
