Domaine de la Piale

Der herzliche Empfang von Elodie & Daniel war großartig. Obwohl wir erst spät am Abend anreisen konnten, wurden wir sofort umsorgt und kulinarisch fantastisch verwöhnt. Die Kochkünste von Daniel sind außergewöhnlich gut. Ein leidenschaftlicher Koch, welcher mit großer Liebe ans Werk geht! Dazu das aufmerksame und liebevolle Wirken von Elodie drumherum macht den Aufenthalt absolut einzigartig. Auch das Frühstück ließ es an nichts fehlen. Nur ausgesuchte, regionale Produkte von bester Qualität finden hier den Weg auf den Tisch! Ein purer Genuss!! Der Pool ist perfekt temperiert und sehr gepflegt! Da wir uns hier mitten in Frankreich befinden, ist dieser im Sommer natürlich ein weiterer, gelungender Pluspunkt. Unsere kleine Hündin Molly war ebenfalls sehr willkommen. Und wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher fahren, auch wenn dieser Ort ein wenig abseits liegt - es lohnt sich wirklich sehr!

Wenn ich ganz besonders lange darüber nachdenke, fällt mir einzig dazu ein, dass eine Dusch-Seife willkommen gewesen wäre. Das ist aber auch alles. Und eigentlich nicht der Rede wert.

Très belle maison en pleine campagne avec seulement le chant des oiseaux . Le petit déjeuner est parfait avec d'excellents produits . La chambre est très propre bien agencée (petit frigo) . Seul petit bémol une alèze dans le lit un peu désagréable quand il fait chaud . L'accueil est très sympathique et discret . Je recommande sincèrement

Very friendly and helpful. Booked us a meal for the evening in local area. But holes in t shirt and smoking. Everything well meant but a lot more chaotic than when we last stayed.

The breakfast was a joke! For the amount of money charged per night it was sparse and uninspiring. With such lovely surroundings it could be served outside on pretty tables like it was when we last stayed. Almost empty jars of jam, cheap pastries, a few tiny slices of cheese ? A tiny carafe of fruit juice for many guests, nothing replenished and bread defrosted in microwave which was brought out with bare hands! This is France the home of fantastic breads and cheeses! No coffee left not even a small bottle of water provided in the fridge and it was 32 degrees! We had to go upstairs and make fruit tea and carry it all down to get a morning hot drink? Just felt like everything on offer to eat has been dragged in and out for a few days. This would have been a regular place to visit for us but it has gone downhill and seems now very laid back more of a trekking site. Dog running around the pool was lovely but not to everyone’s taste. We couldn’t sleep for all the noisy children upstairs belonging to the manager running around until very late. No longer a place for a peaceful romantic break sadly. A few little extras cost so little but mean so much. Up your game spend a little money or you will lose repeat custom. Also no toiletries provided only an old piece of soap the size of a pea, loo seat broken and towels very old and like sandpaper! We are very well travelled and not grouchy people who don’t like fun, but if you want to charge high prices then provide a high standard of service and a half decent breakfast these are basic essentials for an enjoyable stay.
