City Life Athens Apartments

This apartment was very comfortable and a good value for Athens. The AC worked well and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was small but had just enough space and equipment to make breakfast each day. There was stovetop and toaster oven, also a kettle and a big coffee machine I didn't use! The freezer on the refrigerator was small and barely froze ice cubes overnight. The bathroom was large although the shower wall wasn't quite large enough so water got all over the floor. The elevator worked well. The best thing was the view from the bar on the roof. I went up several times to get that beautiful view of the Acropolis. And the location of the apartment was good. Lots of eating places close by and only a 5-10 minute walk to Monastiraki Square.

Other reviews mentioned you have to remember to turn on the circuit breakers for the hot water about 30 minutes before you want to shower, so you just have to remember to do that. A little unusual.

We really enjoyed our stay at City Life Athens. Very central location and easily accessible - we had a car and could park at a public car park less than 10 min walk away. There is a lift which is very helpful for our heavy luggage, and a fantastic rooftop bar which is a hidden gem to enjoy golden hour & the sun setting over the acropolis! Easy access with a key code which also helps when travelling as you don’t have to worry about who has the key.

Good place to stay to see everything, restaurants, bars and of course, Acropolis and Parthenon, which you could see from the accommodation roof top bar

No contact with any staff, must have a phone to contact owner on whatsapp to access accommodation, once in, if you arrive early, nowhere secure to leave luggage, all quite stressful after long 24 hour flight.

Perfect location near great restaurants and the heart of Psiri neighborhood AND just far enough away to not hear the partying at 2AM! Bed was very comfortable!

The bathroom was very old - slightly smelly and the toilet seat cover would not stay open on its own. Everything looked great in pictures so perhaps other rooms have been updated. I would not recommend this one.
