The host was lovely, the property is well located and it’s not more than a 10 min walk into town/the lake. The setting is stunning, with unrivalled views of Lake Bled and Bled Castle and is very peaceful. We enjoyed a bbq on several evenings (charcoal and lighters supplied) and enjoyed sitting in the garden watching people come down the alpine toboggan.

Beautiful log cabin located on the edge of Bled on a picturesque forested hill. Modern, clean interior with all conveniences including air conditioning, outdoor furniture and barbeque facilities . Friendly attentive hosts. Definite choice for people wanting a quieter, more nature orientated experience. Forrest sounds, magnificent views, endless twilight.
Easy walk into town (downhill) and surrounding area.
Walking back ( uphill) to the cabin from town, requires a reasonable degree of fitness, and takes time especially when hot.
Only 4x4 vehicles can get close to the cabin ; parking for cars about 100m down the hill. The host transported luggage and guests from car to cabin on arrival and back down on departure.

We love staying at Bled Straza. It was such a unique place to stay for an amazing view of Lake Bled. The host, Valerjia, was incredibly helpful during the planning, arrival and departure. We were able to walk into town.It did not take more than fifteen minutes. We did not have 4 wheel drive at Valerija.Super helpful with dealing with our luggage. It Is a beautiful place and we will always remember it!
