Claudine was very communicative from booking to departure providing a lot of information of the local area; things to see and do, things to avoid and restaurant recommendations. The Flower House was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Well located just outside Penzance meaning avoiding busy areas of the town. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Claudine was the perfect host, very thoughtful and catered for all our needs. Great location, warm, cosy, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed, log fire, private parking. This time a winter booking, we hope to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating area. The Flower House really is truly exceptional!

Comfortable and peaceful

Nice central village location, but tucked quietly out of the way. Woodburner to make the evenings cosy in cold weather. Nice and quiet and plenty of room to park the car near the front door. Great base to explore the surrounding area. The owners very kindly left a bottle of wine in fridge as a welcome gift.

Perfect base for exploring Cornwall. We will be back

Claudine, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself has everything you need and was spotless. The location is perfect as a base for exploring Cornwall. You can even catch the 17A bus straight to St Ives. Nice local pub. Very quiet location. Supermarkets are a five minute drive.

Peaceful getaway

Great location, wonderfully private and decent facilities including parking. Hosts were very accommodating and were there when needed/contactable as required. Plenty of walks from the accommodation for the dog, or you can get to some really nice beaches within a 10-20min drive. The hosts had great knowledge of dog friendly beaches, coastal walks or restaurants and where to go. You will definitely need a car or bicycles to get around as there is not much in the immediate vicinity - though supermarkets etc are only a 5min drive. However, that is exactly why we chose this spot. The accommodation was clean and the kitchen/facilities had everything needed. Will certainly go back if we travel to Penzance again.

A hidden treasure - Perfect for what we wanted !

We loved The Flower House, it was clean, modern and had all the amenities you would need. The property is warm and cosy and very quite and tucked away, although only a few minutes by car from Penzance. There is ample parking and our dogs were made to feel very welcome too. We loved the patio and the wood burner inside the property (although we didn't use it.) We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thankyou

Peaceful little gem.

Peaceful location within a short distance of the many beautiful places to see. It was well equipped with plenty of space and a lovely courtyard garden to relax in. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The only note would be to add a little gate to the courtyard for the dog.

Hidden gem

Ideal location for exploring the far West of Cornwall. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated property. Relaxing outside area and everything you could need inside. Lovely welcome gift of local Apple juice and fairings which was a nice surprise. Even milk in the fridge! Host was very friendly and helpful.

Wi-fi signal wasn't the best. But tv/ dvds available.

Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped cottage in a good location close to Penzance, Trengwainton and open country. Nothing at all to complain about! A pity to stay only 2 nights (on the way to Scilly) - we will try to come back!

Dreamy hideaway with all the luxuries thought of.

Claudine was the most wonderful host, greeting us as we arrived and welcoming us to the immaculately presented flower house. Every detail was thought of meaning we had a very comfortable and relaxing night here.

We couldn’t fault a single thing about the property - luxurious bedding and linens adding that little something that elevated it.

The beautiful Flower House

We loved the wood burning stove, the whole of the villa was beautiful and the little courtyard was beautiful. 15mins away was the Orange Cafe Bar which we visited for a special Burns night which was fantastic! The villa is very quiet and chilled for a truly relaxing atmosphere and a very peaceful nights sleep. Claudine was super welcoming and close by if we needed anything. The whole villa is lovely decorated, we loved all the little touches and it was wonderfully clean and tidy. Having the washing machine was an absolute bonus. We highly recommend and we will be returning very soon.

We were a bit chilly, the storage heaters couldn't be turned up any more. We moved the sofa closer to the fire to warm ourselves. May be helpful to have hand soap for the bathroom sink?

Sehr süßes kleines Haus im Hof der Vermieter mit eigener Terrasse. Super ausgestattete Küche, viel Platz. Das Auto könnten wir im Hof parken. Claudine und Trevor sind wohl mit die nettesten Menschen von denen wir bisher eine Ferienwohnung gemietet hatten. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie haben uns tolle Tipps für unsere Wanderungen gegeben. Wir wollen gerne wiederkommen und wenn das klappt, freuen wir uns jetzt schon auf die beiden.

Nichts, alles war toll und zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Gut, das Bett halt, das war wie immer für uns Deutsche nicht die gewohnte Größe eines Doppelbetts 😄

De eigenaren hebben de cottage smaakbol verbouwd. Het is een fijne en verzorgde plek om vakantie te vieren. Cornwall is ook prachtig dus dit was een hele goede ervaring. Dank Claudine!

Heerlijk verblijf op een goede locatie.

Zeer comfortabel huisje. Goed bed, prima badkamer, royale woonkamer, goed ingerichte keuken. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Er stond zelfs een fles prosecco en flesje melk in de koelkast klaar. ‘s nachts was het heerlijk stil. Locatie ook heel goed om allerlei uitstapjes te maken. Zowel naar St Michaels Mount als naar Lands End en naar Men-an-Tol.

Klein minpuntje vind ik een douche gordijn in het bad.

Wunderschöne, saubere und zentral gelegene Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft war mit Abstand die Beste auf unserer Reise durch den Süden Englands! Sie liegt zentral um an die beliebten Ausflugsziele in Cornwall zu fahren (wir sind mit dem Auto gereist und waren flexibel), sie ist wunderschön eingerichtet, unglaublich sauber und Claudine sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen:)

Sehr schönes Cottage in der Nähe von Penzance. Herausfordernde Lage, aber wenn gefunden ein absolutes Highlight unserer Rundreise. Sehr liebevoll und einladend eingerichtet.

Kein Smart-TV und der Fernbedienung war kaputt. Das Bett nach unseren Geschmack sehr weich und wir wünschen uns immer getrennte Decken,😉
