It was a very comfortable place to stay. Kitchen and laundry facilities are always a big plus. It’s walking distance to groceries and restaurants.

It’s nice when hosts provide soap/bath gel and more than one laundry pod.

Very enjoyable weekend stay in Ballater

Location - easy to walk to village centre, and easy to drive to Balmoral and Banchory Kitchen was very well equipped Plenty of wardrobe space in bedroom Whole apartment was very clean

Bedroom was very warm at night, even with radiator at it lowest setting. Bedroom could do with blackout blinds/curtains for light summer mornings.

Stay here! It's wonderful!

This was hands down one of the best self-catering apartments I have ever stayed at. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook meals - not the usual one ruined non-stick pan that one might encounter. The hosts were thoughtful, communicative and the apartment was well organized, (there are manuals for the appliances - what joy!) cozy and comfortable. I wish my days hadn't been so packed so I could have enjoyed the space more! Great place to relax and great location for exploring. Thank you for creating a perfect space!

Really comfortable and enjoyable break.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped with good quality items. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Excellent location within the village. Guest information pack was informative and well prepared. The tea and coffee supplies provided were a welcome treat having taken an 8 hour journey by car to get there.

I couldn't get the tv to show live TV and could only use the apps. I probably wasn't using it correctly!

Lovely small apartment - immaculate

A very pleasant one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a converted former hotel. The apartment had a small double bedroom and a compact shower room. The living/dining area/kitchen was a decent size, The place had been recently refurbished to a good standard and the owners had really thought about what would be needed for a holiday let and we really appreciated that. We were attending a family wedding in the area and my partner was born and brought up in the village so we know the place very well indeed. We would certainly rent this place again.

Highly recommend

Had a 2 night stay this weekend. WOW VERY CLEAN!! Lovely apartment, very modern, lovely personal touches, lovely decorated, everything was perfect. 5 min walk to local shops and pubs, location brilliant. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.

Only thing I could fault was hot water only on a certain times, was quickly rectified, but next morning only one of us got a hot shower and no hot water for my partner, nor to do the morning dishes. If hot water only on a certain times could suggest water on in morning say 7-10 to get a hot shower in morning, but just a suggestion.

Beautiful apartment with all the facilities you would require including a tumble drier & wifi that wasn’t mentioned on the itinerary so was a nice surprise. Fab location only a few mins walk to the village, shops and local eateries. Great hosts too.
