Holme Fell

Lots of space and spotlessly clean.

Couldn’t find a hairdryer would have been useful to have one.

Location was perfect. Easy access to shops, pubs and the lake. House was wonderful. Plenty of space for our family group. Lovely views from the property of the surrounding hills. All bedrooms had access to their own bathroom. Kitchen had everything you could need and was great for preparing our own meals. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The slippy decking out of the conservatory and steps down into the garden. As it was November we tended not to use it. Would probably be much better in Summer.

Great Location - Really well set-up for a party of 6, which we were. 3 x Ensuite Double rooms - 1 Downstairs double (Separate bathroom) Easy walking distance of Coniston Plenty of walks to be done

Broken Shower Screen - Was asked how we broke this, which we hadn't - Kept in touch with the agent who represents the owner and after a few messages back and forth advised it had been fixed at no additional charge - Agent offered a great service, getting the right resolution

Perfect location for accessing the shops, local pubs, Coniston boating centre, cricket ground and Windermere lake is only 25 minutes driving distance. The house has been furnished to a high standard with amazing views both front and rear of the property. The gardens are also well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The house is very convenient for both families with young children and elderly parents. We enjoyed our stay at Holme Fell.
