Southern Nights is a spacious home in Destin, Florida, that boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, providing ample space and comfort for a large family or group of friends. The home is equipped with modern amenities, ensuring guests enjoy a truly luxurious experience.
As you enter the home, you will be greeted with a spacious living area with comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, and plenty of natural light, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the area.
The open-plan living area also features a modern and fully equipped kitchen with a large breakfast bar, and ample counter space.
The main home features three luxurious bedrooms, each beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and premium linens. The master bedroom on the main floor is exceptionally spacious and features a king-sized bed, a large closet, a private balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.
The other two bedrooms are on the second floor and are equally spacious. One features a queen-size bed, and the other a king and twin-size beds. These bedrooms feature a jack-and-jill bathroom with a walk-in shower.
One of the unique features of this home is the separate studio apartment above the garage, which provides additional privacy and space for guests. The studio apartment features a comfortable queen-sized bed, a small kitchenette, a dining table, a sofa, a large TV, and a private bathroom.
Outside the home, a large private pool is perfect for enjoying a refreshing swim or lounging in the sun. The pool area is surrounded by lounge chairs, providing guests a secluded and peaceful retreat.
Southern Nights is located in the gated community of Destin Pointe, where there are two beach access points. In addition, guests have access to four adult bikes, tennis/pickleball courts, shuffleboard, three resort swimming pools, two hot tubs, and an onsite rental office with a fitness center.

Overall, we loved the layout of the house for the number of people that we had, and we adore this gated neighborhood and the amenities. The pool in the backyard was great, and it was clean and warmed up. The house was also clean; although, a friend said she had seen several very small roaches in the house. We were disappointed with the state of the separate apartment. There is an obviously known issue with moisture in the air, since there is a humidifier plugged into the wall that filled up to eight times a day with water and had to be dumped. I don't recall there ever being any mention of this issue ahead of our stay. As a result of the moisture in the air, there was visible mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and the apartment smelt musty. This is really unacceptable for a rental and should be addressed ASAP. Also, the couch in the living room of the main house is old and worn out (cushions are very faded). As a result, the pullout couch doesn't properly flatten - the end is elevated despite us trying to push it down. You should consider updating with two, new large couches. I can't speak to the beds in the other bedrooms, but the master king bed is very very stiff and uncomfortable, and others complained about the lack of blankets in the house (i.e., extras for the living room and bedrooms). So overall, we loved our stay, but I would not rent this unit again until these issues are addressed.

This house could be very beautiful. I understand it’s a rental but there is much wear and tear. It had possible mold in the upstairs bathroom, loose bath fixtures in the master bath and the area around the pool and the pool was not cleaned when we arrived. Also, we learned that there is no tram service & that is a deal breaker. We have children & it’s very inconvenient (even with bikes) to haul kids and belongings to the beach. Also, getting a beach chair was not easy as ever seemed to be reserved that was in front of Destin pointe. The MIL suite smelled musty and moldy.
