I’d never stay here again it.

Can’t think of anything.

I booked the day before as a very last minute option. After I have paid the £260, I received a email to pay an extra £40 for a compulsory entertainment pass and another £100 for a damage refundable deposit. If I didn’t pay the extra charges I’d have lost my original payment that was a Friday (4pm cheek in) - Sunday (10am cheek out) to a £400. The extra charges were not stated properly when booking. Once I’d actually arrived I went to reception to get my passes for the entertainment and book for the swimming where I was told It was completely booked out for the entire weekend. When I went to the evening entertainment there was no space to sit where it was over packed. I spoke to the resection team and explained.. she went on to tell me they are having nothing but problems with other customers complaining about this private caravan and it would have been half the price with entertainment/bedding and towels included. Now to the actual caravan.. I mean fair enough if it was cheep but just the absolute audacity demanding £100 deposits when there is mold and spiderwebs under the sofa and bedside tables the sofa was absolutely filth. I messaged the owners about the entertainment package and they were not helpful. Reception told me they would not charge this owner for entertainment package so I emailed the information her about this but she said that the payment had already been made.. according to the receptionist this was untrue.. all in all don’t book this, book through the camp sight it’s self it’s a lot cheaper- cleaner and nicer

Served its purpose for the weekend

Lovely site, very quiet

It does need to be clearer when booking that there is a £35 compulsory cost for entertainment passes and £100 security deposit. Always there was a warning that there would be a £25 charge for any rubbish left in the caravan but there was food from the previous user in the fridge when we arrived. Also please leave loo roll for the next tenants (even half a roll)!!

A road map of the site would have been helpful at the start until we found our way around. But it didn’t take long.

Nice but never again.

Quiet and safe for the dogs with the gated balcony. The caravan was great for dog owners like us but not for anyone looking for a bit of a luxury feel.

The matrasses were terrible. Worse than a blow up camping matrass that has a slow puncture! The double was the worst. We couldn't have stayed any longer than the 2 nights otherwise we would have been crippled with back pain. They really do need replacing and it's the reason we wouldn't go back.

Disappointing

Not much, we will not be using that site again. The outside areas were very clean and tidy. The staff were polite and friendly

Although we paid £40 for the entertainment passes, we could not use them, because NO dogs allowed in the Club; swimming pool or on-site cafe. We were not aware you needed (prior to arrival) go on the internet too book a swimming session. We could not take our lovely little dog, anywhere indoors at that site.

Cute home from home

Lovely home, wraparound veranda with chairs we used on that from the garden table & chairs. Communication from Rhiana were instant answering all q's i had. Shower was very good & bathroom very clean. Everything you would need in the kitchen, tho i did bring my coffee machine😂 part carpet, part laminate, decent sized tv & loads of sitting space in the lounge area, dining table & stools. Bedrooms perfectly adequate & had best nights sleep for a long time👍This van had been well looked after & offers an inexpensive break. Onsite takeaway & shop. There is a clubhouse but didnt use it. Stones throw from Brean beach. The site is well maintained & homes are spaced apart quite nicely. Would return for sure.

Gave some feedback on the bed & hoover direct to owners. We had to pay an extra £35 for entertainment passes but couldn't get a swimming slot or a table in the bar so that seemed for nothing (appreciate the latter bit out of owner control)

No hot water. Called the owners to be told “it’s a quick fix” so quick it lasted all of 3 seconds whilst using the shower on the first day. Kitchen tap constantly leaked, so much so that it overflowed the washing up bowl and went over the sides and drenched the one tea towel that was given to us. No toilet roll on our arrival? No internet, tv in main bedroom needed to have an aerial to be used the remote was ruined and had no batteries in it. To top it all off, the last gas safety inspection on the boiler was done in 2018!!!!!( I have proof) This is a yearly requirement. This caused us to feel very unsafe. Do not recommend

Location nice caravan abismal.

Not much at all, smelly and very out dated but the site is pleasant.

Booked a small break for me and my family and as soon as we arrived at the caravan we realised there is no parking outside like advertised. In fact the parking is a good walk away from the caravan. Walked in and instantly got a pungent smell of damp and dog so had to open all the windows and spray air freshener. Hot taps and shower did not seem to work half of the time and all in all it just seemed to be very old and rickety. Wasn’t expecting the ritz but on a hole very disappointing. Either way enjoyed the location and site very much and will be visiting again.. the biggest shock for us is that we paid a £100 deposit which a week later we have still not received and now are being accused of breaking things which we are absolutely certain we know we didn’t .. my advise is DO NOT STOP HERE and fall for the same con that we have fallen for . Currently going through booking.com to get out deposit back .

Caravan stay.

The location was ok, just abit hard to find, John Fowlers staff were great. The entertainment was good.

The owners acted unprofessional when they entered the caravan for 2 broken tvs. They only fixed one after spending alot of time in the caravan, swearing as it wasn't working, leaving and returning. The caravan was dirty and the cleaning supplies were broken. (Vaccum and sweeping brush etc). The bed is in the way of shutting the master bedroom door. And the bed is broken in the middle resulting in us sleeping on the sofa in the front room area. The tap in the kitchen constantly leaks, filling the bowl up, making a constant dripping sound. Bathroom was very unclean and if you open the window the neighbour next door can see and he looks out his window alot.
