4 Bed in Cromer oc-1703

The location was great, just 15 minute walk into Cromer and on a lovely peaceful spot, lovely to sit back and watch the cows and sheep on the next door field with buzzards, pheasants, deer and rabbits also pottering about make for a lovely aspect to sit and watch the world go by for a while. The house has the lovely open plan living areas with the comfy sofas and the kitchen is well appointed and we did enjoy having group meals around the very large table together. The hosts had very thoughtfully left us a delicious fresh cream cake in the fridge on our arrival along with the usual little treats you often find in a holiday cottage.

On arrival some of the crockery and cutlery had the remnants of the former occupants meals on which was not terribly nice. The bath in the bathroom shared between the two bedrooms also had quite a bit of scum and hair in it from the previous occupants. There were also quite a few little aspects showing wear and tear (the outdoor chairs need the odd one replacing and the dartboard was so beaten up that we left a replacement). The beds in the room opening onto the games room were so uncomfortable - the springs are basically gone and the mattresses do need replacing.

A lovely spacious property and a great location.

Stayed here 9 years ago. Property looking tired inside now, it needs freshening up. It wasn’t very clean there were dead flies by both patio doors inside when we arrived. WiFi reception not very good, keeps cutting out. Outside seat covers very worn and dirty they are the same ones that were there 9 years ago!

Good facilities and location as well as plenty of space. Overall this was a well equipped and lovely place to stay.

We had a problem with the internet, which was promptly fixed but the wi-fi access was not available throughout the property
