We recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely property for six weeks due to a work relocation. This house has all of the amenities you need and then some. We especially enjoyed the backyard and sat out there every evening taking in the lush scenery and cool ocean breeze. Our fur babies loved running around and exploring the backyard. The inside of the house is bright and spacious. We really liked the round dinner table so we could enjoy eating and speaking with one another face to face. All the couches are very comfortable and relaxing. Jon was a super host and very responsive with any questions we had. We'd definitely stay again.

We have been renting homes/condos in the winter months for more than 10 years and this was our best yet. Jon’s home has everything you could want: beautiful, expansive yard with lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit trees, plus a passion fruit vine, toys of all varieties including a golf net, trampoline, basketball court and horseshoe pit, a hot tub that was serviced weekly, and plenty of sitting areas to enjoy the yard.The house is comfortable and meticulously maintained. At some rentals we’ve found no more than a salt and pepper shaker in the kitchen; here we were pleased to find a well stocked kitchen, including several spices, and all the appliances you enjoy in your own home.Jon is an excellent and quick communicator and answered any questions we had quickly and fully. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. And important to us as well was that the property is dog friendly. Our pup spent many hours exploring the expansive yard and we found a great drop-in day care we could use for days when we went on long outings.It’s an A rental.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this home! The house is located in a safe, quiet, well-established neighborhood right on the border of Carlsbad and Encinitas (two great beach communities in North County San Diego) and it was incredibly convenient to get anywhere we needed to go. Amazing beaches, hiking trails, community parks, shopping, restaurants, etc. are all within a few minute drive of the house. The house itself is well-appointed and well-stocked with plenty of towels, etc. and had SO many amenities to keep our kids entertained! It has a ping pong table and pool table, a private and spacious backyard with a basketball hoop, jacuzzi, huge trampoline, golf practice setup and more. Our family had such a great time here and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area, especially for families! The owner was kind and super quick to respond to my initial inquiry and any subsequent questions I had. 10/10!
