About this house rental

This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home is set for your beach vacation. We are perfectly placed just 1.1 miles from Beacon's beach and a minute from the highway to provide easy access to anything you would like to do in the San Diego area. Two bedrooms are equipped with queen size beds and have sliding door access to the back deck and yard. The third bedroom is equipped with a twin daybed, twin trundle, and twin bunk beds. All bedrooms have spacious closets to hang clothes or store luggage. The garage is set up with a washer and dryer, as well as a bumper ball table and opens up to the front patio. The side deck is equipped with a private hot/cold outdoor shower to rinse off in after a day at the beach or use as a shower when someone else is in the bathroom. The back yard has a nice grass area to play games or allow pets to roam and the front patio is equipped with a table and chairs so you can enjoy a drink or meal while watching the sun set.

The property is at a very convenient location. The beds are very comfortable. Loved the large yard for our small dogs to roam. The only negative is no A/C but there are several fans available for use. Overall, very good experience.

Quick drive to the beach, clean, comfortable, has all the kitchen, bath and other essentials needed. Appreciated the exterior shower after time at the beach. Could use a couple stronger fans for the days the ocean breezes are not as strong and a screen door for the front to allow front door to stay open without letting in flies or other insects. (Just a suggestion for the owners) Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

This was exactly what I was looking for. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 kids(8,11,14). We didn’t feel jammed in or not having space. The backyard was great and gave my kids somewhere to get the energy out. Outdoor shower was amazing. Being able to go straight around back and get all cleaned up after the beach is so nice! Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Great property! We arrived and found it exactly as described. Enough supplies in the kitchen and bathroom for a family. Beds on the soft side but comfortable. Good size front and back fully-enclosed yards for your pets. Quiet side street with easy access to city center and I5. Close to Botanical Garden and hiking trails. Only minor issues were with a bent sliding screen door frame that doesn't close well and dirty windows. Nothing critical. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved this house! Everything from the decor to the layout of the house was perfect for our family. The two queen bedrooms are very comfortable. Our kids are older and didn’t find the comfort of the beds in the third room as nice as the others. If you have younger children they’d be just fine! The location is excellent which made it easy to get to our favorite beaches and restaurants. Courtney is super friendly and easy to get in touch with.

This was a perfect spot for me and my family to meet for a fun weekend. It had everything we needed and a lovely front patio and rear yard for my son’s dog. We rented E-bikes from Cal Coast Adventures, who delivered them right to our door. The location was bike-able to all the places downtown that we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time. I’m very happy we chose this house. The beds were super comfortable, kitchen very well equipped and lots of room on the sofa. Easy to nip up and down the I5 to get to San Diego where we enjoyed ourselves during the day and on return to the house, we had a lot of fun playing pool in the evenings although we had to Google the rules! If we ever visit Southern California again, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in. Perfect open kitchen living room layout with well stocked kitchen including dinnerware for kids. Neighborhood was very quiet during our stay. Not much to say except that we loved the place. The house is nicely updated, and we liked the floor plan and lots of outdoor space but our favorite thing about the house was the bumper pool table in the garage. We were in town to enjoy the beaches and to attend a family wedding so did not spend much time at the house but what we did we enjoyed. Courtney, the owner, was very communicative and responsive to questions.

This property was great for us! About a mile to the beach (nice sidewalks to get there if you choose to walk), close to restaurants and stores. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone we saw/met was nice, happy, respectful. We had an issue with the door lock on our first day… Courtney answered right away and changed the lock out super fast! Everything was as expected with amenities…. Nice to have laundry access and we used the outdoor shower too! One bathroom is right with 6 adults but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again!

Our experience at the Encinitas Cozy Cottage was great! The reservation process with owner, Courtney was seamless. She communicated with us before, during and after our stay. The cottage offers easy keyless access and sits on a quiet residential street. The bedrooms, 2 for adults and 1 for kids, were cozy. We slept on the large L-shaped living room sofa while our pup found a nice spot in the middle of the floor and got comfy in her dog bed. If you're a fan of fresh air and love the cool evening breeze, we recommend snoozing in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you need to cook meals. The gas grill in the backyard past the wooden gate allows for fantastic cookouts while basking in the sun and feeling the cool wind on your face. After a long day exploring farmer's markets and sightseeing, the bathroom shower provided a perfect spa-like winddown. Oh and the highlight was a personalized card from Courtney welcoming us to the vacation home. She truly does make you feel like a VIP guest. If you need a comfortable place to stay with family and loved ones, the beach cottage checks all the boxes. Thanks, Courtney for a wonderful stay! We will be back!
