Poor management

Pool area looked nice.

We had booked a twin room and separately confirmed w hotel that it was available. Also informed w would arrive early evening. When we arrived our room was not ready and was asked to wait in lobby for 15-20 min as we would have an upgrade. We chose to have a cocktail in restaurant while waiting (own expense). We were escorted to a garden cabin w a double bed, not twin bed! Instead they had put in an overnight extra bed (camping style) next to the double bed. Neither of us wanted to sleep there. This is not what I booked or what the hotel had confirmed. When complaining I was taken to a regular double room but which could be converted to twin. When I demanded to have what we had booked and paid for, they again needed 30 min to convert. I asked why they did not give us this room to start with and they said something about a tree falling over (?). Time was now 8pm and we still had no room. By that time we had traveled all day and were too tired to go out, and asked for dinner compensation at the restaurant. They offered the cheapest meal available. I asked for other dish and offered to pay difference. Again we had to wait and wait for confirmation for measly 15.000 IDR. Less than 1 USD. This was completely ridiculous. The management of this situation was handled extremely poor and I only hope for other guests, that this was a one off. Needless to say we only stayed one night and then left for other hotel the next morning.

It's close to the centre. The atmosphere is very peaceful. The facillities are good. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. It felt also very safe with security around. The garden was beautiful.

I liked the big spacious property, the fact the units are not too close to each other so I didn't hear much noise at all. The pool was clean and great. Staff were friendly and the location is close to the main strip in town.

Everything was good and taken care for. Really great place to relax, so would definitely recommend this place.

A sweet and friendly gem in Sanur

The staff were super friendly, the included breakfast was delicious and pool area was quiet and beautiful to hang out.

intriguing and comfortable

I love antiques and the retro atmosphere of the cottages was very intriguing. The landscaping was also amazing - so beautiful. And the staff were next level helpful and friendly. It was a great place to rest and plan day trips from. We visited coffee plantations and a day at the beach which is nearby.

I wasn't a huge fan of the meals at the restaurant. Presentation was beautiful but something in the spices wasn't to my taste. Local beaches are pretty with lots of good shopping but have a disappointing amount of trash.

With what we paid for the night we were not very happy at all and it was not cheap

The bed was very nice and comfortable

The bathroom was not clean. We went out that night to the dining area we asked for drinks. They didn’t have what we wanted and when we went for meals they didn’t have what we wanted. They seem to run out of everything like they don’t have very many people eating there which was very disappointing and the food took a very long time to come out and it was overcooked and we were the only ones eating there. We went to the cafe around the front as they give you free drink vouchers which is nice but the staff are out there smoking. They leave smoke their smoke butts everywhere and it’s not been cleaned with leaf litter and ashtrays full

An amazing traditional Balinese hotel in a quiet area.

A very nicely positioned traditional hotel in a good neighbourhood, 800m from the beach and Icon Bali. The chalets were amazing and so was the food, served in the small restaurant in a lovely garden.

Beautiful gardens and pool with a fabulous breakfast!

The breakfast was excellent and well worth including in your stay. Pool area and gardens were really nice as was the spa where we had Balinese massages. The room we had was a bit on the small side and could do with updating but nothing to put us off staying here again.

Location wise it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the big shopping centre and beach. Certainly not the properties’ fault but worth knowing before you book.

Needs some work

Staff were lovely

We were put into a very outdated room (which is usuly fine, we are not fussy) but there was mould in the bathroom and walls. We asked for an upgrade, which was avail the next day. This room was better, however the A/C did not work.

Lovely stay, would definitely recommend

Lovely staff, excellent breakfast, great spa treatments, very clean rooms, beautiful pool. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Close to the Icon mall, the night market, and the cat cafe.

It’s further from the beach than it seems, due to the absence of direct roads/paths down to the beach. As long as you don’t mind walking 20 minutes, this isn’t an issue as the pool is nicer to swim in anyway!

Quaint Bali stay

Lovely little villa, comfy clean with everything we needed. Good air conditioning. Staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Pool area great, lovely grounds kept ammaculate. Not flashy but authentic. Quiet from busy road.

Not many meal options for breakfast for including breakfast stay. Limited beverages on offer. Our room was very light at night due to lighting outside with curtains closed.

Gardens and grounds are gorgeous, a bit further from the beach but I enjoyed all the walking and there’s plenty of places to eat close by. Nice pool and lovely staff.

Room was a little more fun down than photos but that’s standard in Bali, I stayed in a room and would definitely pay a little more for the beautiful cottage style rooms.

Such a gorgeous tranquil place. Authentic Balinese Villas and divine gardens. Incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and caring staff. You will feel very welcomed and safe and well looked after.

We liked the bungalow for privacy and quiet - surprised as it is near the bypass but we heard no traffic. The design and layout is old style Bali.

Perfect for a stay in Sanur

The place is ready accessible from the main road, there is safe parking. From the back it's only a 15 min. walk and 5 min. bike ride to the beach and all the restaurants and shops in Sanur. We live that our is located in the quieter streets of Sanur with small warungs on walking distance. The 3 bedroom villa with pool is private, AC works well in all rooms, clean and quiet. Lovely breakfast options and good Balinese coffee. A nice seafood warung on walking distance from the main road and a coffee and pastry shop right next door in front and back.

Beautiful gardens, stunning cottages, great amenities. Cottages are well away from the road and super quiet. Rear gate to side streets was excellent! Loved walking through the laneways and only a short walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

The gardens villa and staff were fabulous! Can’t fault this place whatsoever!

The villa was beautiful and clean and very spacious! The bed was super comfortable and linen was crisp white! Large tv was great for relaxing at the end of the night with a movie! The pool was the perfect temp, it got used all the time and even for a night swim before bed!

The only thing I could pick out would be the glass doors to the villa rooms, made a loud noise when open and shut! Wouldn’t be enough to stop me going again though!
