Agus Villa

Agus Villa is a great little place to stay. It was very central in Sanur and I could walk to restaurants, shops and the beach easily. Dyhana was an absolute delight and her place suited me perfectly, I'll be back!

For location and hospitality, Agus Villa is hard to beat. It is just a short walk to wonderful warungs (especially Warung Naksa), a terrific spa (Dot Massage), the restaurants and shops on Tamblingan, and Sanur beach. We'd enjoy a day out, then come back for a dip in the pool. As there are only a few rooms, it's very private - you might have the pool to yourself, or you might find a couple of fellow guests enjoying a glass of wine, and end up joining them for a chat. But what really makes Agus Villa terrific is the host, Dhyana. She was wonderfully helpful, with excellent pre-arrival communication (she wrote in English, and then in Indonesian so I could give it to our driver), advice and recommendations, tidying up our dishes, arranging laundry service for us - nothing seemed to be too much to ask. We had a wonderful stay.

There was almost nothing we didn't like: * The bathroom in our room was a little dated, and a cebok (bum gun) would be useful. * There are 4 dogs that hang out in the alley during the day and at night. Their owners, who we spoke to, are not too helpful at keeping them inside. They told us "they're all bark, no bite" - which turned out to be true, in our case, but is not very comforting when it is dark and one of the barking dogs is following you !

Very clean and welcoming close to local eateries, massages and shopping strip.

Always stay at Agus when in Sanur. Nice, big room, excellent aircon, quiet, but close to everything.
