Great location with stunning views & perfect for exploring beautiful Cortona.

Bruno met us at the train station & took us to the property & showed us around. He was always available to answer any questions & responded quickly. The property was in a perfect location, walking distance to the centre of Cortona, with stunning views over the Val Di Chiana. It was just what we needed.

A non-stick frying pan & a kettle would have been helpful.

Very helpful owners. Thanks to Bruno and his son, who spoke English, for picking us up from the station in Camucia. The property was excellent and fulfilled our needs with great views over the valley. 2 good double bedrooms and a decent sized bathroom with shower and washing machine. We visited Perugia by train, I would highly recommend this. We also had 2 small dogs with us who were made welcome. We had 4 very enjoyable days in Laura’s house.

Cortona is a hill town and is quite steep in certain areas so maybe not suitable for those who are not fit.

Amazing view, perfect location, comfortable staying

I've booked this place at the last moment before the trip but finally was very happy to stay here. Bruno and Valentina are very friendly! Transfer for free from Camucia station and payment for the booking during check-in were very helpfull options. House is closed to the city center but located in the quite area. AMAZING view from the bedroom! Clean, large and comfortable space inside. Welcome water, coffee, olive oil, sugar, salt and everithing you need for the cooking are in the kitchen. Will be glad to stay in La Casa di Laura again!

Magnificent views and wonderfully comfortable beds

The owner very kindly met us at the station which was wonderful. Very comfortable beds and a fantastic view from the bedrooms. Very well located, the apartment was central and there were restaurants nearby.

The sitting area is a little dark.

We look forward to returning to Cortana and staying at La Casa di Laura in the future!

Our hosts were very gracious, warm and wonderful Italian family - finding us in an absolute downpour and severe thunderstorm to lead us through the very narrow streets to the property, showing us where to park and provide great recommendations on where to eat. We fumbled on communications leading up to that point and they graciously altered their schedule to accommodate us. They to the time to get to know us and really felt like long-lost family! The location of Casa Laura was perfect, high in the old city with breathtaking views from its windows and a short stroll to its many shops, squares and museums. The 1,000 year old house (apartment) has all of its ancient charm despite a modern remodel with all the comforts of today.

We were traveling with our teenage kids, and they were not interested in sleeping in the same twin bed, so our son crashed on the short couch in the living room. Not sure if the living room could accommodate a larger couch or sleeper (it is a cozy apartment), but that the ONLY improvement we could recommend.

Ottima esperienza per una famiglia! La casa si trova in una posizione strategica e comoda in un borgo bellissimo come Cortona. L'appartamento e molto grande e ospitale anche grazie alla presenza e al servizio del signor Bruno. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!
