Lovely serviceable little apartment, spotty Internet.

Very serviceable little apartment. Good value for the money. Apartment was very clean. It is a very good size for a single person to spend a week. The bed was quite comfortable. Check in was easy. The apartment was well stocked in terms of dishes and cooking equipment. The location was good. It is short but steep walk to the main street.

The Internet was very spotty, slow and sometimes just didn’t work. Also very little cell reception. Definitely could not use it for any type of work or FaceTime.

Exceptional

Beautiful apartment located in the heart of Cortona. Spacious and very well equipped, especially in the kitchen. Lovely touches left by the host, it really felt like home! Would highly recommend - I will definitely be returning if I am ever in Cortona again!

Very cozy and Tuscan apartment with soul

Everything. This place has the SOUL. It is very cozy, warm and very Tuscan. We loved Giovanna as she is super nice person, she even picked us up at the train station even though we did not ask for it initially. The house is in perfect location in upper and calm part of Cortona, but very close to main Piazza della Repubblica. The apartment has really everything you need and it's very well equipped. Also the kitchen is very well equipped. We stayed 4 days/3 nights and it was very comfortable that we had a chance to prepare our own breakfast / lunch / snack before dinner in the city center (ALWAYS). You can even make an espresso or tea for your breakfast or wash your clothes in the washing machine (we were backpacking). We will be back, it is already in our hearts. Thank you Giovanna.

During very very very warm nights it could be a little bit hot, but there is a fan, which makes the night little bit more bearable.

Location in the centre of the town, Giovanna was more than helpful, she came to meet us at the entrance to the town to guide us to a parking spot as parking is difficult in a walled town. Apartment has history within the family, very old but well appointed with historic features,

near perfect 4 days in Cortona

almost everything is very good to prefect. Jovana is a great host - easy to communicate, very attentive to details, goes out of the way to accommodate her guests. Two room apartment is spacious and well located. Bed is fine. Very good place to stay for a couple.

wi-fi - unfortunately no wi-fi was available. Parking was too narrow. It is fine for subcompact or compact car, but midsize and bigger cars are a bit large for the parking.

Silent and Quiet.

Quiet place. Giovanna was kind. Electric appliances in the kitchen were efficient. Many pots,pans and plates.

No instruction for garbage clearance and sorting. Nice cutlery but no sharp kitchen knives. Bathroom a little cramped. Bathroom towels inadequate for a long stay. Synthetic Bedroom linen. Mattress a little uncomfortable. Not suitable for aged or infirm people because of steep location.

everything is amazing with the flat and facilities, but what makes place really exceptional is Giovanna's hospitality and welcome preparations! 110% recommended to feel the real flavor of local live in Cortona. Including street parking :)

Authentic Italian apartment in the old town

Great one bedroom apartment in the old building in 3 minutes walk from the main square. We felt like living in true Italian home with excellent design, fully equipped kitchen - even Lavazza coffee and cakes are included. Giovanna was excellent host, she met us near the apartment on time. We can’t ask anything more that we received

Ottima posizione vicino alla piazza centrale, appartamento pulito con tutto il necessario per la colazione.

Il riscaldamento funziona solo ad alcuni orari ed essendo molto freddo nel periodo in cui sono andata non è stata una bella esperienza. C'è una stufetta elettrica ma non basta a scaldare l'ambiente e per il freddo non abbiamo potuto fare la doccia. Gli scarichi dei lavandini sia nel bagno che in cucina non scaricano bene, la ciambella del wc si sposta e la piastra elettrica della cucina non funziona, segnala errore all'accensione. Meno male che abbiamo cenato al ristorante e visto che abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte ci siamo adattati.

Perfetto

Sono stato solo una notte, pertanto posso dire che è stato tutto perfetto. C’era tutto dal caffè al ginseng, tisane tè, marmellata e fette biscottate non potevo chiedere di meglio. Comunque la cosa importante è che l’appartamento è nel cuore del paese , 5 min e sei al centro, ma comunque fuori dalla confezione, zona molto tranquilla.

Il riscaldamento é gestito dai proprietari vicini,i termosifoni li hanno accesi un paio di ore soltanto,quindi la struttura era fredda. Il check out era alle 11 ma alle 10:20 ci hanno suonato dicendoci che DOVEVAMO andare via in modo molto scortese. Sé questa é l’accoglienza di Cortona non ci siamo proprio .

muy recomendable

Es un apartamento encantador, el ambiente es cálido, típicamente rural. El apartamento está muy bien equipado, tiene absolutamente todo para vivir allí. Está situado en el centro de la antiquísima ciudad de Cortona. Hay que decir que Cortona está construida sobre una colina, todas las calles son cuesta arriba bastante empinada. El piso está situado en una de estas calles, al lado de un hotel de cinco estrellas.
