A great base to explore Cheverny and the wider eastern Loire Valley.

We liked the accommodation as the room was very spacious and had plenty of areas to sit. The room was very quiet at night and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The property is well located within walking distance of the town’s shops and restaurants and the chateau of Cheverny is about a mile away.

Beautiful property. Make sure to enjoy the exquisite garden. Easy 10min walk to the Château de Cheverny. Extremely kind and welcoming hosts. Enormous two bedroom suite with a giant bathroom with shower. Double sinks. king size bed. Absolutely loved to be welcomed by their adorable wire haired dachshund Oslo (sp?). Good coffee :)

Very simple breakfast on offer. Jams, breads and cake, tea and coffee. The host was very obliging however, and was able to offer me a tall jug of warm milk to enjoy with my coffee. A bit of cheese and some cold cuts, veggies, fruit, eggs would be a huge improvement. Toiletries lacking in the bathroom. I’d happily pay a little extra for these conveniences.

The place is situated in a little town and is managed by a very pleasant host. We got some tips for our trip and had a great stay there. The bathroom is clean and spacious. There's a nice garden with a creek. The room faced the street but it was very quiet since the street is small with almost no traffic. There're few restaurants within 10-15 minutes of walk but they close around 9-10pm. The breakfast was very basic but tasty. It's nice to eat around the same table with other guests. The place has its own parking space in the yard.

Lovely oasis property in village next to Cheverny

This is a very lovely oasis with beautiful grounds, a little pond and a complex of old buildings. The decor in my room was traditional with books on the shelves and rugs on the floor. The room was quite large too. The stay included a very genial breakfast with other guests which was a treat.

Entrance and check-in were a little confusing, otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Big and comfortable room. Spacious and well equipped bathroom. Very nice garden/courtyard area. Location is very nice for visiting Cheverny, and owner provides good guidance.

Little hard to find (signs do not match name on booking.com), and many one way roads in the town don't help. WiFi was available in just one room, and signal was very weak.

Un séjour très plaisant pour un WE exceptionnel (soirée masques vénitiens au château de Cheverny.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Patricia et Brice. Ma chambre au rez-de-chaussée était très grande, magnifique (poutres apparentes, tomettes anciennes), très confortable et donnant sur le parc. Bien que le gîte soit le long de la rue Nationale, le calme est absolu. Pas le moindre bruit de trafic automobile. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, les confitures maison excellentes. Bref, un lieu de séjour que je recommande vivement et où je retournerai volontiers.

Nous avons eu une très belle chambre avec une belle salle de bain spacieuse. Emplacement fabuleux pour la visite des châteaux de la Loire. Accueil très chaleureux et petits déjeuners copieux. Très bonne adresse. Parking dans le jardin.

On regrettera peut-être la vue jardin qui, contrairement à ce qui est dit dans le descriptif n'a pas la vue sur l'étang. Mais c'est secondaire et n'enlève rien à ce site.
