The hotel is very old and needs more "love". Staff is almost not speaking English. Garbage from the bathroom wasn't removed for 3 days. I'm not sure that room was perfectly cleaned when we came - we found hears in the bathroom.

The staff was really nice. They received us on New Years Eve at 9 pm. They were very helpful with our needs. Room was big. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean.

Only our friends stayed here and found it satisfactory. We were left without a room through the hotels incompetence and were not offered an apology, any assistance or compensation. After a long day we had to find our own accommodation and pedal a further 40 minutes. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel.

Little gem in the Loire

The room was perfect - not large but well equipped and warm and clean. The restaurant was phenomenal. Our evening meal was so wonderful that we possibly didn't do justice to a comprehensive continental breakfast. Excellent.

Disappointing

Location was good, also the room.

We reserved a restaurant table outside, but arrived to find it crowded with no reserved table. We were shown to a table for one (with a second chair found) - despite there being a couple of empty tables for 4 people. This table was elbow to elbow with the next noisy table. On requesting another table we were offered one in the bar area - away from the restaurant. The waitress was unpleasant when we asked to move. We then waited 20 minutes without out apero order being taken. Certainly won’t attempt to eat here again.

Perfectly located in the little village close to the Cheverny Castle. Nice local vibe and great service, also really good food. A good Breakfast completed our stay. Very good value altogether. We recommend!

Me and my friends are very happy about the stay, it's absolutely a safe choice with no bad surprise: Very professional and helpful staff. Flexible catering services with the restaurant (we arrive late, but they still allow us to order food, and food is quite good!) We were able to park our bikes inside with safely Close to chateau Cheverny We took a room for 4, very spacious!!!

Good Dog Friendly French Hotel with Excellent Traditional Food

Wonderful evening meal: Civet de Chevreuil and Blanquette de Veau. Traditional hearty food well cooked. And the dog was made very welcome even in the restaurant.

Nothing to dislike for me though some might say the room was a bit dated. The shower was new though and worked well

Hôtel calme et accueillant. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux, les repas présentent un très bon rapport qualité prix avec des produits frais et locaux. Très bon emplacement pour voir les châteaux de Cheverny, Chambord, Chenonceaux, … et aussi le zoo de Beauval.
