Worn down student accommodation

Quiet area and parking right in front of the house. Towels and linen were clean.

From the nice pictures on the website I would not have thought this to be the same place. It is worn down and not nice at all. This is more like an off season student accommodation. Beds was not good and some even horrible. Some duves not comfy. Kitchen was not well equipped, for instance only 3 forks for 6 people, and no teapot. Some things was not cleaned properly. No dishwasher, but for some reason two refrigerators.

Location was perfect for exploring the city

Some of the single bed had springs that were very uncomfortable. Electric storage radiators had rust on. Lack of cutlery for 6 people. Not enough Glasses to drink from. Less then the bare minimum.

The host was very communicative as soon as we booked the apt. The follow up was immediate after sending questions. Clear directions were given as well info about the surrounding area. We enjoyed the apt as well as the convenient location. We were very happy with our stay!

It was ok, and if you are happy to stay in student accommodation then it would be a great property for someone else.

Location was great, a short drive to the city.

This is off season student accommodation, and had we known this we would have selected an alternative property. As a family of 5 travelling together it wasn’t very homely and the bedding set up was not designed for a couple. We did bring this up with the host, as we had ruled out alternative properties that did clearly state student accommodation. The host was very responsive but was unable to assist with any requests for alternative bedding arrangements.

Good

Nice townhouse, with enough room for all of our family of 5 with older teen/young adults that need their own space. Cute living room with a little balcony! If you don't mind driving to town, it's a good option. Free parking at the door of the townhouse was wonderful! I would say if you are using Galway for a base and doing a lot of day trips, it is perfect to avoid the downtown/ city centre traffic. We were able to get in and out easily and the drive to town to eat dinner was easy. Great value.

A little far from the city centre, but we had a car so just drove. It was quiet and a nice area though.
