Clean and very central to everything. Great showers. Good response from staff when needed.
We were charged a late fee of €40 when we checked in , we challenged this the following morning and were told is was a mix up. We got our money back but just beware of whoever is checking you in . The man that checked us in was obviously keeping the money for himself, not a great first impression of our first time in Maderia. Also there was no aircon or no fan in the second bedroom, it was so hot myself and my husband had to sleep on the couch in the living area the first night. They did provide a fan the following day, but could really do with aircon. There was a terrible smell in one of the bathrooms . No mirrors in the second bedroom either, second bedroom is not equipped enough for what we paid. Could also do with an umbrella on the balcony, it gets very hot and with no shade you can’t sit out.
