Unforgettable stay at Shore Cottage

We simply had an excellent stay at Shore Cottage. The correspondence with the owner was excellent and fast. The house was so COSY and well equipped. We had fun playing games, discovered Sounds Fishy. The bedrooms were big and we slept so well. Kitchen had all you can think of....pasta, spices, baking paper, a lot of utensils of all kind, beautiful teacups etc.etc. 2 nights was too short. We missed the house every day during the rest of our stay in Ireland and the other house we rented just did not come close to Shore cottage.

An Oceanside dream, I don't hasten to wake

Loved our stay! Peter and Siobhan were very attentive and welcoming. The cottage is very spacious, bright and cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The views are amazing and there is lots to do around if you appreciate nature. Great place to stay while exploring area :)

Great cosy comfortable spot for a family trip

Very nicely decorated and well stocked cottage. It had everything we needed for our short family stay. The comfortable beds and the black out blinds were just what we needed for a great night sleep. The cosy little fire in the living area was a nice touch.

Cost cottage lives up to its name

Lived up to its name as a cosy cottage, very clean and exceptionally well maintained. Great location, we felt right at home during our stay. Probably the best holiday home we have stayed in over recent years.. Peter proved to be an excellent host, very helpful and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Overall an excellent holiday experience.

Excellent stay- Felt really comfortable, clean, spacious and location is excellent.

Totally loved Cosy Cottage or "Shore Cottage" as it is the name over the front door. We stayed here for 9 days, 3 adults and two kids with plenty of very comfortable and clean space. All furnishings and beds were really comfortable and spacious and the house is generally very well equipped. There are deck chairs stored outside and we had some really enjoyable BBQ's. The walk to the center of Knightstown is a very pleasurable 10 to max 15 minutes walk along the shore. Even less of a walk if you want to pull a deck chair out by the side of the shore. We have nothing but good to say about Cosy Cottage and the hosts, Peter & Siobhan were at all times very attentive. I am wondering if I should write this very good but realistic review as I would like to keep it a secret so that there is less competition for future bookings! We would definitely book here again. We had a total chill-out holiday here. The local beach and points of interest and scenery were all really very worthwhile. We can be picky if things are not right or clean but we have to say - 5 stars!

Exceptional

We were very happy to spend 5 days in the cottage. It's a very comfortable and quiet place, you can find everything you need there for your perfect stay. It's also well located, not far from the main sightseeing and ocean. The host is very friendly and always ready to help. We will miss this place and hope to come back again :)

Ein absolut traumhafter Urlaub in einem Cottage, in dem man sich sofort wie Zuhause fühlt.

Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen. Ein wirklich hübsches, gemütliches und super sauberes Cottage. Es ist alles da was man benötigt. Man kann entweder mit der Fähre zu jeder Zeit aufs Festland oder man nimmt den etwas längeren Weg über die Brücke und genießt dabei die Umgebung. Die Kommunikation lief von Anfang bis Ende reibungslos.

Da gibt es absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Я і моя сім'я в захваті від помешкання, все що було потрібно,дякуючи господарям з турботою було продумано і завжди було під рукою. Володарі помешкання все продумали до дрібниць. Помешкання чисте,затишне,з гарним садом і зручною парковкою.Із вікна можна побачити море і пляж.

Ми приїхали на машині, тому з шоппінгом і покупкою їжі проблеми не було. Якщо була би сушильна машина для сушки одежі , то це єдина річ яка відсутня,але погода була чудова і все було неймовірно.

Wir hatten eine ausgesprochen schöne Zeit! Das Cottage ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Kommunikation mit den Vermieteten ist problemlos. Eine kleine Anfrage wegen der Heizung wurde umgehend beantwortet und sofort gelöst! Die Betten sind sehr bequem , die Zimmer sind gemütlich und in unseren Augen sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. Die Sauberkeit ist aussergewöhnlich! Wirklich eine rundherum positive Erfahrung. Sollten wir nocheinmal nach Valentia Island oder in die Umgebung kommen würden wir sofort wieder hier herkommen. Danke an Siobhan und Peter für eine rundherum gelungene Woche.
