The location was excellent. The staff were friendly.

Heaven on earth

The room is beautiful and spacious. I had the most gorgeous view over the garden, see and mountains. In the background I hear a stream of water flowing over the rocks, enough to bring the peace and tranquility into my room and put me to sleep. The garden is beautiful and and absolute must to walk and enjoy during your stay. The dinner and breakfast is really tasty.

Everything. The gardens are amazing, and the private path down to the beach. Staff very friendly and lovely. My room was gorgeous and well heated before I arrived and throughout my staff. Best place I have stayed in Ireland

Remote but stunning

The gardens are stunning and the wider area has some breathtaking views. The room was spacious and comfortable and the food was delicious, although a bit expensive.

It's quite remote and there aren't any public transport links so a car is essential (that's more of an observation than a criticism)

Lovely spot to relax

Our room was beautiful. It was so romantic and has a really big bathroom. Large towels were a nice bonus. We spent two nights. It was great to already be on the ring of Kerry and the hotel setting is beautiful. There is a great garden. There is a sitting room and the hotel restaurant is delicious. Breakfast was good, too. We got some great sunset pictures looking out over the ocean.

Great Garden and stay

Lovely room, Bay view, which did have a great view. The gardens are wonderful so great to walk around or go down to the beach. Thai resteraunt was good too.

The property is Beautiful - with gorgeous gardens and walks through "rain forest - like" woods, that stretch down to a beach! The hostess was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! She went out of her way to please! They had an Excellent breakfast! We had a view of the beach/ocean from our room. The place had a Jamaican/tropical vibe - which was really a most pleasant surprise! Queen Elizabeth, and then Prince Charles have visited there for the gardens!

The water pressure was low! We were supposed to have two twin beds, and got a room with a king.... they offered to switch us, but we stayed in the room - it was OK.

We loved everything! Amazing destination (we went for the gardens!) Beautiful house. I could happily have moved in!! Sala restaurant on site was lovely. Food delicious. Staff during our stay were incredible, friendly, attentive but professional. We loved every minute of our time in this fabulous place.

Great time!

The property is located with easy access to a private beach that has a fresh water stream flowing into it. When you’re dining outside all you can hear is the waterfall that’s right off the patio area. The inside conservatory and dining room is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The reason to go here is the AMAZING Botanic Gardens ,with different themes throughout. We’re definitely going back soon!

Fabulous place to stay! The room and gardens were amazing. The restaurant took it to the next level. The Thai food was the best we have had for a long time. The room was spacious and well equipped. You have access to the beautiful gardens for your stay. It was a lovely stopover point for us.

Super location in beautiful grounds. Very friendly welcoming staff. Lovely Bay View room, clean, very comfortable, home from home. The lovely grounds are well worth exploring. Nice little coffee shop. Stayed twice already and look forward to a return visit.

Irish charm and elegance that delivered.

It’s obvious that the owners have a love for the property. It’s an elegant vintage estate that has great charm. They’ve put in walk-ways, patios, and a cable sky-bridge in the garden. Wonderful! Staff was so gracious about gluten requests and offering suggestions for travel. Wonderful people!

Like any original estate there are no elevators or lifts, just stairs. The 2 bedroom suite has amazing views of Kells Bay, but you have to climb the stairs! Worth it!
