Super peaceful clean and comfortable stay

Stay Skellig was fantastic. We booked them at the last minute. Both the host and hostess were super friendly and offered great suggestions for dining and activities in the area. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Small little items added and the big bonus was a well appointed kitchenette. These guys really thought this through. Only 2 regrets- wish we could have stayed a few more days… and wish we could have taken their adorable and sweet dog Charlie with us!

Lovely host that accommodated us last minute. Good cooking facilities and we were able to cook a meal pretty late at night.

Nothing really, but a little out of Portmagee so we didn’t end up going to a restaurant that night which would’ve been nice.

A super place to visit the Kerry

Our host Caroline was very helpful. The comfort is outstanding. The Kerry and the Skelling ring is wonderful. We loved our stay.

The immediate surrounds are a little bit below the expectations. But it is not disturbing at all.

Wonderful cozy stay

The host greeted us warmly on arrival, we got to meet her sweet little dog and chat for a bit. She gave us great tips that helped our trip and the place was very clean and comfortable. She even got us some wonderful soda bread which we devoured. The bedding was soft and comfortable. We loved having the living room to stretch out and kitchen. 10/10 would stay again.

No complaints, we would stay again. We were unlucky to arrive right after previous guests broke her washer. It would have been so nice to do a load of laundry mid-trip, but it was not her fault at all and I'm sure it will be working again soon enough.

A beautiful getaway

The apartment was beautiful. It was comfortable , spacious and had everything that you could possibly need. It was quiet and there were lovely views of the Kerry countryside from the apartment. Caroline was helpful and friendly and gave us some tips on where to visit and good local restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Portmaguee and the surrounding areas.

A lovely place to stay.

I liked everything in this well designed property, It had a very nice kitchen. Lots of equipment in the kitchen. Plenty room to park my car. We had a great night's sleep as it was nice to go to bed knowing the car is in a very safe location. I could only stay there one night but I will be back for a longer stay.

The location is central to lots of the areas attractions but a car would be needed.

Not really able to sit out side as facing into building next door and car. There are two properties but the booking.com reviews don't make this clear.We were attached to the house.

Perfectly located, spacious accommodation with view on Valentia Island

Spacious, clean accommodation with all you need. Our host is super friendly and it was lovely to chat with her. She has a cute little dog named Woody. There is an outside seating area and a free parking. We had our meals at the window with views on Valentia Island. The location is great. All touristic places area are just a very short drive away. We definitely recommend Stay Skelligs and say thank you once again to our host.

Exceptional

Stay Skellig was just amazing stay! House in reality much better than on photos. Clean, comfortable, with all amenities, cosy and stylish, very comfortable beds, great view from window and absolutely friendly doge Woodie. My only regret staying there only one night.

Surprised with an upgrade on arrival to larger accommodation which included full kitchen , dishwasher, washing machine. Clean in a good location , comfortable bed and it had a decent shower

Lack of blinds or curtains in the living area although far enough away from main house would be good to have a choice to open or close blinds, possibly small chest of drawers needed in bedroom

A super apartment in a great location for exploring the Skelligs area

A very spacious and well-equipped 3-room apartment. Very comfortable sofa to relax on after a day outdoors in the Skelligs area. Well-stocked cupboards allowed us to cook a nice evening meal which saved the expense of eating out. Bed also very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Beautiful view out the front which we enjoyed over breakfast. Owners very friendly and helpful with good communication. I thoroughly recommend this apartment.
