The Gingerbread Cottage is very quaint. It is well appointed with everything you need for a weekend away.
The host is very generous with breakfast supplies and cupcakes for a treat.
The bed and couch were both pretty uncomfortable. Time for replacement I think.

Lovely cottage stay with everything you need. The host even left delicious treats as a kind measure.

This accommodation was interesting for its history and heritage. We enjoyed the breakfast provisions. We enjoyed walking around the town in the green and common, but were surprised that no shops were open when we arrived at 3pm. We expected a range of antique shops at least but the town was essentially dead.
The rugs and carpets and the whole place generally was quite musty smelling and dusty. The TV didn't work. The air con in the main bedroom downstairs didn't work so it was quite hot and stuffy when trying to sleep.
