Self check in at night. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Quiet neighbourhood. Crockery and cutlery were provided for self catering.
The local bistro was closed on Mondays but there were take away options.

Everything about this property stood out. The history, the booklets with commentary about the property and the Fitzpatrick sisters was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the house and families. Our host Nigel and JC were very nice.
The fact we locked ourselves out of the house. It was our own fault and Nigel was nice enough to drive back and let us in.

We really liked the vintage hotel and its location in a quaint town.
The rooms were recently renovated, clean and the bed very comfortable.
Shower and toilet facilities very clean and plenty of hot water.
No personal interaction at all with staff.
On our arrival we were surprised and dissapointed to discover that the main building had been converted into a function centre and that, despite it being a Thursday, there was a wedding taking place.
Had we been previously advised we would have cancelled and moved our booking elsewhere.
The music was very, very loud, guests were very noisy and stomped along the verandah outside our room using adjacent rooms toilet facilities then slamming doors on exit.
Several guests had hot rod cars which they frequently started up and revved loudly demonstrating the noise volume to other guests.
The function finished at 10pm but guests remained afterwards drinking and talking until after midnight.
A very dissapointing booking that could have been avoided if the owners had provided information to us and other guests.
