The villa was very comfortable and pleasant to stay in. It was quiet and warm, and a good location. Kitchen facilities were adequate for our group and our food preparation. There was easy parking and access to the unit. Instructions on accessing were sent in good time and were easy to follow.

Beautifully renovated colonial building, quiet setting with garden outlook, well appointed, comfortable beds, generous size, clean, and reasonably priced.
Check-in time was stated as 5pm which might be late for some guests. However it suited us as we travelled from an evening event in Launceston and could check ourselves in. Moreover, our check out time was 11am, which was perfect for a lazy morning start.

It was a returned stay after many years. We liked the feel of old times, the thick stone walls, beautiful, shady and tranquil garden. Easy and secure parking.
Great bathroom! Very clean, white linen and comfortable bed.
Guests booking the Loft should be informed that the
Tasmanian Walking Company have their storage facility and morning gathering point right under the windows of the room. Thus making a lot of noise with their excitement and changing gear at 7am.
The reception staff has no knowledge of the history of the building and area and no brochure or information for the visitors.
The Loft, although nicely appointed is very small to the point if uncomfortable. Breakfast table is not acceptable in its size and the bedside table being a garden chair does not keep the bedside lamp in a vertical position.
Window should be fitted with the net as the garden is a great dwelling for mosquitoes.
Poor, boring breakfast.
