When you pay plus $300 per night it's reasonable to expect you would get a reasonable quality tea bag.

The unit was great ,bed was extremely hard but everything there was great
Food was terrible, especially breakfast. I have never seen or experienced such half cooked and poor quality food in my life. It was like surel!
Restaurant was very sticky and dirty and furniture even greasy. Dishes dirty I couldn't believe it. Evening dining staff particularly one older lady was so beautiful and really made us comfortable but unfortunately the food let her down, she was incredible and I felt so bad for this beautiful lady due to the cooking .

Golf course is closed with no advertising on website, I booked the hotel thinking the golf course was open.
The whole facilities need a lot of TLC

That it was close to the arcade.
It wasn’t as clean as it should have been.

Clean and comfortable apartment with all needed for out stay.
I didn’t realise there were stair to the apartment which made it a little difficult with my large heavy suitcase.

Didn’t have breakfast location a bit far out and not much to do there for a couple . Was ok for 1 night .
No remote for TV. Could hear our neighbours and felt they could hear us. All looked a bit tired and there wasn’t much to do. Swimming pool full of kids so couldn’t actually swim. Gym was OK .

The friendliness of the staff in the hotel and all the shops, , the comfortable beds, and exploring the beautiful resort village including the Tamahorn lookout, secret gardens and all the quirky little activities available.
Such a fun place and in a great location to explore the beautiful Tamar Valley and beyond.

It was just ok for a two night stay with our grandchildren.
The facilities are looking rather tired - need an update. The pool area was not the cleanest. Did think that activities on offer could be at least half cost if you are staying on premises. Especially if using the cafe for lunch and restaurant for dinner meals because it is not cheap.

Great activities to do around the resort
Stale odour when we walked in. Bathroom wasn’t overly clean and filled with a fair few spiders, would say it hadn’t been stayed in a while.

hotel rooms were nice and comfortable
the place looks like it needs updating in certain areas - family stayed in cabins and they were apparently very dated.
6.0 / 10.0
The house was spacious with a decent sized living area. We booked 2 villas and a studio.
The rooms feel dated.
The facilities were a rather basic - same shampoo. Body wash and conditioner. Paint peeling off surfaces
Kitchen didn't have enough plates.
Location was a tad disappointing.. the swiss village is barely 7 shops. Felt more hype than needed.

Beautiful area, very pretty surroundings. Close to Launceston but felt secluded. Quaint. Great for kids & golf players. Has gym and pool.Comfy bed.
We had a v small, musty cabin, seemed old. Needed to keep all windows open during night to stop sneezing.

Good facilities, spacious accommodation. Very friendly staff and nice and quiet.
Dated and very run down, one of the doornobs came off and the tap in the bathroom leaked. Also found some dishes that had not been clean in the cupboard. Felt expensive for what it was.

The village is lovely, and the Christmas decorations were nice.
The area where we stayed had a particularly bad smell, my kids really noticed it a lot.

Lovely staff, nice location and enjoyed feeding the ducks

The location and rooms while dated, were comfortable and secure.
I would suggest that at least a table and chairs be available in each room, while yes there was one outside the room, due to rain it could not be taken inside,

Splash Golf
The pool smelt bad up shallow end, spa looks un inviting, just looks old and run down, not the way it was growing up or even when my children were young. Not being able to access easily from outdoors, having to walk through hotel if had a chalet.

we enjoyed the heated pool and spa,
we had a 3 night stay but they don't service the rooms 1 towel each for three nights and no where to dry them
we asked for clean ones which did arrive but we shouldn't have had to ask it should be automatic

A quirky location
Our room was rather small and connected to a room with small children that we could hear running up and down stairs.

The activities were great!. All the shops in the little village were fantastic and the staff were all super friendly especially in the bakery and the icecream shop.
The food was great for tea. The staff we interacted with were really friendly.
Our Room was one with a spa and honestly it wasnt worth the extra money we paid over a standard room when we arrive we were told the hot water was out as they had a hot water service fail but they informed us it would be fixed by the afternoon, which it was. We then went to use our spa that night and the hot was was really dirty like when we filled the spa it was a dark brown colour rendering it unusable. Very disappointing and when informing the hotel online we recieved no reply on the matter which was very disappointingand we were unable to go to reception as it was closed. The room was very dark due to insufficient lighting and the second bed advertised was a pull out couch which was incredibly uncomfortable. We also had alot of trouble with the WiFi cutting in and out in our room sometimes waiting up to 5 minutes for the movie to load.
Also several rooms were being renovated in the building while we were there and one was right behind the wall where our bed was and in the late afternoon we went back to our room for a rest before tea and the noise was unbearable so we had no choice but to watch TV with the volume right up.
When we went for breakfast the food was good but the service for the buffet style breakfast wasnt great the gentlemen was doing his best but I feel they needed more staff to help keep the buffet stocked up with food and drinks as there was a long wait when food ran out which isn't ideal when your trying to feed young kids.
The arcade was a complete waist of time as there isn't alot of machines in there and most of them were marked out of service or ate your money and didnt work. Also not ideal with young kids when they were very excited to go in there.
The pool hasn't been maintained very well particularly in the bathrooms it felt very dirty in there when getting changed.
A suggestion I would make is filtered water on the property as the tap water wasn't very nice.

Services offered
Renovations occurring and lack of sleep due to fans drying out wet carpet overnight and early morning loud workmen. Water flow in shower, took a looong time to wash out the shampoo and conditioner and that was in a newly renovated bathroom😅
6.0 / 10.0
the activities for the children were great, although it works out to be very expensive after you child wants multiple goes on things. Food in the restaurant was great, could not fault. We were turned away for breakfast though as one of our guests were not eating so they would not let them in.
Kitchen Tap was broken, toilet ran all day/night long. Beds were a little hard but ok. It was really heavy raining and there where out car was supposed to be parked was like a swamp.

The facilities were great
We were still in our room on the day of departure before the checkout time when a cleaner came into our room and proceeded to start removing the linen from the bed. Highly unimpressed
