Fun community vibes!

This was my first stop on a year-long travel journey, and honestly, what a start. Sepeda is easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The rooms are genuinely comfortable. Cold air con, good privacy, and actually designed for people who want to sleep, not just exist. The pool, bar and co-working space make it incredibly easy to settle in and feel part of something rather than just passing through. But the real standout is the people. From day one I felt at home. Huge thanks to Zoey, Carson, Kesh, Isabella and Kieran. They made me feel welcome, included and genuinely part of the crew. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to begin the journey

Sepeda Hostel doesn’t feel like a hostel, it feels like being welcomed into a family that just happens to live in Bali. From the first day you’re pulled into the rhythm of shared meals, easy conversations, and spontaneous plans. The atmosphere is warm and genuine, never forced, and you quickly forget that you only just met everyone. Everything works here: the people, the calm, the energy, and the care in every small detail. Hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, and a place that’s hard to leave once you arrive. ❤️

Awesome place!

It's an extremely nice and luxurious hostel. The beds are the nicest hostel bed I've ever seen, you have your own shelves within the bed area. The pool is really nice, the rooftop area is awesome. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there's free yoga in the morning!

Hostel with almost Perfect balance of work and party.

This is the best hoste in Canggul, which is big , have amazing staff (We We and Cande Carrizo ) Pool is cool Working space have propper office chair and AC Lots of empty spacr outsidr.

They try to keep the room full instead of using empty rooms. So, new people keep coming and going, as a result its hard to get good sleep. ( Noise of packing, unpacking bags) I would recommend to keep solo travelers in seprate room, as people in pair talk too much in room.

Comfortable stay close to th center but far away to relax in the quietness

The location wasn’t that far from the center via bike but was still quiet area. I liked the privacy of the rooms and comfortable beds

Sepeda fam hits different!!

Sepeda sets the bar for hostels in Bali, the staff are welcoming and attentive, the design is authentic, the vibes are pure, the food and drinks are delicious, big comfy peds, incredible yoga by Ani, events by Natalia, and service from Cecil! Resort feels on a backpacking budget - Suksma Suksma!!

Splendid stay at Sepeda Hostel

The staff here are truly exceptional and make every effort to ensure everyone feels welcome and comfortable. The hostel offers so many extra services (luggage storage, facilitation of visa extensions, scooter rentals, etc.), and if you need help they always find a way to assist you and answer questions. Also the location was close enough to all the restaurants and bars while also being far enough for a peaceful sleep (located next to a beautiful rice field). The facilities here are really great and the modest free breakfast is a very nice touch! Plus free morning yoga on weekdays!

The dirt road to get to the hostel can be challenging to get down especially in a car/scooter.

The room was super comfy and the housekeepers clean your bed every day. The reps are also amazing! Shout out to Laura, Francesco and Maria! And to all the reception and bar staff as well, they make the stay really enjoyable.

Extended my stay and would extend it again.

I am working remotely and was looking for a place to meet people, but not get dragged into a big party vibe. This was exactly that place, so i ended up extending my stay and will come back later at the end of my Bali trip. Honestly, this place feels like home. The people I have met here are so laidback and the rep Laura and CC made sure everyone felt included. I will definitely meet up again with the friends I have made here. This place is ideal to meet chill people, and have the option to either go out or have an early night in and get a good rest, since everyone leaves around 10pm. The co-working space has its own wifi which is a big plus for remote workers. Showers and bed were also really good, and they made my bed every day which I was really shocked but happily surprised. The free yoga every morning was a massive plus! As well as the entire staff <3 everyone was amazing.

The only downside for me is the fact that you cant bring food from outside and there’s no kitchen facilities, so you either go out or eat from the bar (which is great food!) but as a backpacker I’m used to at least being able to do my coffees/teas and having a kitchen to store some food for later etc. The breakfast also didn't offer coffee 😭 which in my humble opinion should be included breakkie without coffee is no breakkie. But everything else absolutely amazing.

Hungover but still having the time of my life

I loved the people that work there, made friends with Hendra, Made Faka, Cc, Adi, basically everyone that works there is hilarious and so nice. The food is good, it’s a great hostel for making friends and being social without it being a crazy party hostel. I actually ended up coming back so stay a second time and see all the people again. Will definitely be coming back more.

Great value and affordable.

Small room, just 3 bunk bed, so lovely. More storage they have in the room. Clean. Secure with 2 keys: 1 for big storage and 2 for bed room. Toilet, shower and wastafel are separate. They changed the shower broken (maybe there's customer said to the staff for changing). They have a swimming pool, but unfortunately not yet go in. The cafe is big, they gave FREE breakfast. They also gave a towel (rarely for hostel). The staff receptionist, cleaning, security is nice. Strategic location for cullinary or explore canggu and great value.

I expected more

I really liked the staff and the vibe of the hostel!

Honestly, i've had a few problems with them. 1. They don't allow any outside drink/food because of their restaurant and then they offer no food options for people with allergies (in my case gluten AND dairy). After having stomach problems for 3 days, i asked the reception if they can make exception because i was not feeling okay to book a grab and go search for a restaurant. I was told to order and then eat in front of the hostel outside? Whatever, i understand. 2. The beds though...they were SO loud, it kept waking up everyone up when you were turning in your bed, also the blankets are plastic which makes it even more loud. Overall the hostel was overpriced and i (and some other girls in the dorm) felt that we were quite limited. I would not return again...

Everything was great! Convenient location, very clean, and quiet at night. They organize daily activities like movie nights and communal dinners, and in the mornings you can join a yoga session. The staff is friendly and always ready to help.

What truly enhanced my experience was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. I'd like to give a special mention to Maria and Yulia Reze for their outstanding service. Additionally, I'm extremely grateful to one of the male staff members who went above and beyond. When I lost my sunglasses, he was 100% committed to helping me find them, which he did successfully. This level of dedication really impressed me. The team's attentiveness and willingness to assist made my stay not just comfortable, but truly enjoyable. Their efforts transformed a potentially stressful situation into a positive experience that I won't forget. A very nice place!

Hostel was clean and cozy, nice view to rice field and plenty places where to relax. Pool was good. Hostel arranged some events like a free lunch on Thursdays and morning yoga (3x a week). Not a party hostel, sometimes could be too quiet. Wifi was good. Breakfast included.

Although hostels is 2-3 km from Canggu, there is no sidewalks, so main transportation is by car or scooter. There is only a bar in hostel, so no lunch or dinner options.

Perfect

This is pretty much the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! All the facilities as well as the room are super nice and clean. The hostel has a great common area on the rooftop, where you can hang around, meet people, play pool, darts etc. There is also a big pool, a workout area with some bars to do pull-ups,dips for example. The hostel has a nice coworking room, so also perfect for people who are working remote. There is free breakfast and a lot of other free offers like yoga, group activities, free lunch once a week. The staff is super nice! And all that for a very affordable price. I stayed 2 weeks ! Thank you Sepeda hostel !🫶

Great Hostel in Bali.

Hi, I spent one month here. The staff was amazing. The staff offered activities everyday. Also, the staff would clean the hostel 2x a day. Yoga is great, and yoga is offered 3x a week. The yoga instructor is really good. The hostel offers pick up and drop off from the airport at reasonable prices. I rented a scooter at the hostel for a great price. I love that they have a workout area with a pull up bar and dip bar and some weights. They have happy hour every day, and Jerey is a great bartender. The community center has a pool table, darts, and many board games. The pool is clean. The plants around the hostel are beautiful. WIFI is amazing in all areas of the hostel. The Bali family lunch offered on Thursdays are delicious. The cooks make delicious breakfast everyday. After one month at Sepeda, I seen people will come and go, but many people will extend or come back for another week. People come back because its a great hostel. The receptions are always welcoming. I love this place. I will be back.

Best Hostel to stay in Canggu

I loved it so much, staff were amazing, everything is made for the guests, rooms are clean and beds confy with closet + locker. Nice pool, nice co-working place and restaurant. Easy emplacement to go around. I recommend it and will probably come back. I met so many nice people it made my stay so amazing

nice place & is only gonna get better!

good location, nice co work area and cafe! pool is sweet too. they’re still building the place and i think it has really good potential! the owners seem like they want to make it the best possible.

the room i was in kind of smelt moldy, was humid for some reason. the dorms are pretty tight tho and not a space i felt like relaxing in. they also need actual stairs from the dorms down to the pool, not just the massive steps. got it on a discount rate apparently but i honestly wouldn’t have paid more.
