Buckie - 1 Bed Luxury Apartment by Together Travel

(These comments are about Portgordon, which we got in spite of having booked Bucky.) The studio was large, light and bright with a well-appointed kitchen and great beds. However, the best thing was without doubt the seaview and the location. We had a great view of the Orkney Islands, a seal that visited several times and a pod of dolphins. The cliffs two miles east of the studio had many nesting birds; gulls, guillemots, razorbills and puffins.

You can have too much of a good thing. The studio was in a distinctive and colorful building that was very popular with photographing tourists at John O'Groats. So we are on numerous holiday pictures of strangers with us looking outside or sitting at the dinner table. More serious was that the whole building, including our studio, was a bit too warm.

Amazing location. Superb full apartment facilities with lounge and bedroom plus bathroom.

It was too hot and when windows opened they kept shutting because of the wind. Bed too small. Sofas too hard.
