Zesopheli guest house in Keda Agro & Eco tourism

I had a lovely stay with lovely hosts. The food and wine was lovely, with proper Georgian hospitality. I really enjoyed wandering the property, and Jemal even showed me the tobacco machine and how it functioned. They grow everything there and you even get eggs from their own chickens. It really was a lovely stay away from other tourists and it was so beautiful and peaceful there. I recommend it to everyone!

Нам посчастливилось погостить в грузинском доме и познать настоящее грузинское гостеприимство. Это был незабываемый опыт, и одно из самых ярких впечатлений во время нашего путешествия по Грузии. Я восхищаюсь тем, сколько труда вкладывают эти немолодые уже люди в своё хозяйство - огромный сад (виноград, табак, кукуруза, овощи), а также большую пасеку. Хозяин увлечённо расскажет вам все тонкости своей работы. У нас был очень теплый вечер с шикарным ужином, приготовленный заботливой хозяйкой практически полностью из своих выращенных продуктов. И конечно с чачей и вином, сделанными хозяином. Мы купили вина и с собой (а надо было купить больше)) Джемал, спасибо вам за всё! Крепкого здоровья и благополучия!

Мне всё понравилось! Просто не ожидайте отельных удобств. Вы будете в старом сельском доме, удобства на базовом уровне.

I came to this place because i read the other reviews, and i definitely did not leave disappointed! I travel a lot and so i can confidently say that there are not many places like this one. The owner, his wife, and son, are all really hospitable and open and love interacting with the guests. The owner, who has the energy and vigor of someone in his 20’s, is extremely passionate about the place; it’s a real labor of love, and he will gladly show you around and explain anything you want to know about the many different and interesting crops that grow here. The highlight for me was watching them work with the bees and setting up new bee colonies. All the food is prepared and served from the farm to the table, the meals are huge, and you can pick and eat fresh crops from the field (i had fresh mulberries and strawberries). They even let me do laundry for free. The farm is set in a beautiful and tranquil agricultural village on steep slopes hundreds of meters above the valley floor. There are no cars, groceries, or shops, and there are trails leading into the jungle forests behind the village. On the practical side of things, to get here take a minibus from batumi to Keda and then a taxi (1 hour fifteen minutes). Or from Batumi to Khulo, and then if you get off at the junction the walk up is a 380 meter ascent, about 1.5 hours. Once you get to the center of the village, there are two easy to see signs to the guesthouse. Also, the coordinates given in the other review (41.6244299, 41.9641019) are accurate. In conclusion, this is an authentic homestay and one of the most unique places you can stay at in Georgia.
