Amazing stay but just needs some attention!

Beautiful views. Very relaxing. It’s everything we wanted.

It’s was pretty run down with holes in the walls and furniture. It wasn’t very clean either.

Enjoyable, dog friendly

Park your car at the front of your lodge, had everything I needed to cook food. Milk, tea and coffee was also a great help after a long journey. My dog loved it, venue was very pet friendly Also every thing was included in the price no extra charges for pool or saunas, hot tub was a nice touch too. Staff also told us where to visit with the dog, we have a few days out to the beach which the dog loved

We enjoyed our stay and would go back, had no issues.

Absolutely wonderful - will visit again!

It was just gorgeous!! From start to finish, our stay was wonderful. The accommodation was wonderful! Spacious, modern, and so clean!

The doors are rather noisy! A tad creaky which echoes if you’re trying to be quiet during the night when others are sleeping.

Very comfy accommodation, with a lot of space and big comfy beds. Lovely grounds and places to explore.

Indoor pool was a bit cold for us in winter but sure it would be lovely in the summer months.

The property was absolutely stunning, the ambiance of the place was incredible. Everything was tidy and neat. The hot tub was lovely. The location was incredible, and the views were gorgeous.

The hot tub charge was a bit confusing, especially after booking as this wasn’t advertised a a paid add on, also the £50 a night deposit came at a shock upon arrival, there was no mention of this in any booking or email - this did then leave a bitter taste in the mouth when staying. The leisure facilities can definitely do with an upgrade, it’s such a stark contrast to the lodges. The food from the restaurant was also overpriced, we were also supposed to have a delivery service to the lodge, but were told that they weren’t operating that. The lodges were also not soundproof.

Another wonderful stay…

This was our 12th stay at Mole resort, and as always we had a wonderful time. The lodges are beautiful, very comfortable with everything you could need for a self catering stay, the grounds are well kept and very dog friendly. The staff are wonderful very helpful and always there if you need anything. We can’t wait to return…

Ok for a few days, probably won’t go back

We visited during winter and appreciated the cosy lodges

The indoor pool wasn’t as warm as it could be and the steam room was out of order. We had our 1 year with us and we’re disappointed to see the swings removed and all the games/ crafts/ activity things not only unsuitable but a bit dangerous (ceramics)

A lovely resort great for families

The Resort is clean and tidy and is in a beautiful rural setting. The Meadow Lodge was extremely clean and had everything you would need for a short stay.

The check in was disappointing as our lodge was not available for half an hour after check in time. A £50 per night deposit is taken on check in. This has not been refunded as yet. I did not read this term and condition prior to booking the holiday. I would have liked the lodge to have had something Christmassy as it was boxing day.

Lovely new/ clean property, good value and as someone mentioned heating was working!

Friendly staff and complimentary hot tub!

Shower in master bedroom didn’t drain properly and eventually became a leak! Downstairs toilet would have been good.

An amazing place to spend Christmas with grandparents, kids and dogs - Valley View Lodges highly recommended!

Lodges were superb, well set out and appointed. Beautiful grounds and views across the valley. Great variety of things to do for families. A delicious Christmas lunch in the restaurant, real Christmas tree in the lodge and the hot tub made it all the more special.

Insufficient lighting and handrails outside some of the lodges makes it precarious for older people to navigate at night time.

Beautiful lodge in peaceful surroundings and very dog friendly

The floor to ceiling windows upstairs , so light and cosy . The bar area for card games and drinks . The hot tub and open plan living . Nice bathrooms and big fridge freezer . Friendly helpful staff .

No washing machine . If you have a noisy family next door it feels like they are in your livingroom . We have stayed now 3 times in the last year all different times of year and there is never enough staff ever in the bar so you wait ages as they are also dealing with the restaraunt . I’ve had friends also stay and they say the same thing . Happy hour 5-6pm is also very early and it makes the bar even busier and even harder to get served . Perhaps could it be 5.30pm till 6.30pm .

Other than those little minor things was well impressed with the lodge

Was very clean good for the value staff members that we did meet was all friendly definitely worth a visit

The green exit lights shine too bright at night time when trying to sleep there isn’t enough information on the map given when the first check-in about what’s on site or times or any lighting on the pathways up to the bar all games room from the bottom cabins pitch black couldn’t see any of the shortcut paths

The View was gorgeous and the lodges were warm , quite and extremely spacious

The staff at the swimming pool were quite unhelpful when we requested a towel. We had the money but was told we had to use a card for a £1 towel hire. Sadly we did not have the card and instead of offering a solution they continued talking to each other. It’s a shame as a little suggestion of coming back later or even just allowing us one for now with a reminder to bring a card up next time. It’s a shame as everything else at the resort exceeded expectations.

Perfect break away

Stunning 2 bedroom lodge, exceeded expectations. Very clean, beds were great loved the decor. Bathrooms were perfect. Fabulous hot tub with nothing but a view of trees and in the evenings looking at the stars.

Beautiful retreat, can't wait to return!

The location was simply stunning. I loved the lodge, everything was carefully considered. The hot tub was checked daily and the place was immaculate. I particularly loved the facilities at the pavilion, the views from the pool were so relaxing.

The towel rails worked with the heating but it was warm enough that we didn't need the heating on so drying our towels was tricky. Some of the facilities could have been more clearly signposted such as the leisure facilities and the restaurant.

Highly recommend The Mole Resort!

Lovely location and excellent value for money. The lodge was spacious and well-equipped, the whole park was nicely landscaped, there was lots to do (even in the rain) and the staff were all very friendly.

We were not informed prior to booking that there was an additional fee for using the hot tub, but this was waived as a goodwill gesture. The ultra plush carpets upstairs were lovely, but not ideal in dog-friendly accommodation! We didn't allow our dog upstairs but others clearly had and the carpets needed a clean.

The property was clean, modern and spacious. The facilities such as the bathroom and kitchen were very well kept. The hot tub was an excellent addition to our stay.

A relaxing family break would definitely recommend and visit again .

The location was very peaceful, the lodge was stunning and the facilities very good with lots of options for the kids to take part in.The leisure staff and activity staff were engaging and fantastic. The games room was a big hit and the football golf fun for the family. Both pools were open which was great. Stunning views and beautiful lawns overlooking the countryside. Loved the layout of the lodge, well equipped and spacious.

Some of the costings of the activity packages were not identical to what had been sent to us, but this is being resolved. We booked through booking.com which seemed to show the hot tub charge was in included but charged an additional £15 per night. This should be clearer and shown as a sub charge. We were told there had been due to recent price rises. A minor thing but some of the bar staff could be more engaging with guests, not much small talk and slow to clear the tables outside resulting in lots of wasps around the great croquet lawn. The property itself was very high quality with comfy beds and the facility and activity staff were very friendly and attentive, they made everyone taking part of the team.
