The set up of lodges. Cleanliness.

Could do with maybe more tracks for the kids and their bikes/scooters

The lodge and facilities were fantastic again. The food in the restaurant at Sunday lunch time was delicious. Our party also enjoyed some lovely walks.

Our party were a little disappointed to be met with a sigh from the younger waitress on our arrival for dinner as if we were an inconvenience. We were a party of 9 and appreciate that the restaurant had a couple other tables but we had booked so it wasn't a surprise. All other staff we'd encountered on our stay were fantastic and we will be returning again.

Lovely location, lodges were lovely and good quality

The pillows and mattresses weren’t comfortable at all, they claim to offer delivery service which isn’t true either

The design of the lodge was lovely. The view from the decking/bedroom was lovely.

Sadly the carpet was stained on the stairs and in several places in the bedroom. There were also marks in the bathroom on the paintwork. It just made the property felt uncared for and not very luxurious. There was also very basic and limited crockery and drinkware provided meaning everything had to be washed between every meal or there wouldn’t be enough. Most places we stay there is a basic welcome hamper upon arrival, which makes you feel a little treated. This was a paid for extra, though we were gifted milk, two dishwasher tabs and a tiny bottle of washing up liquid. Despite being self catering accommodation designed for families, there was no washing machine or washing service.
