Fantastic house and location for our annual beach trip. With the recently added rooms on the bottom floor, it made it perfect for our two families to enjoy time together and have our space too. The pool and privacy fencing was excellent. Overall we agreed this house was our favorite yet. Hope to be back next year!

The home is nice and in a great location in Ocean Isle. The main living space and kitchen were very nice, open, bright, and clean. The format of the bedrooms and bathrooms off of the main living area worked very well. The pool was small but nice.
However, there were a few issues. There was pet hair all over the floors in the bedrooms. The outdoor furniture was filthy because when the cleaning company hosed off the deck, all the dirt from the deck fell onto the furniture below. There were 2 piles of dog poop left in the backyard from previous renters. The laundry was inconvenient because you have to go outside and down the deck stairs to get to it on the ground floor. Since the house is surrounded by some standing water, we couldn’t go outside at night because of the bugs. And lastly, we went to grill out one night and the propane tank was empty, so we had to go get a new tank. When we told the property manager that we would like refunded for the tank they said of course, but next time to let them know and we’ll get you a new tank. That’s great, but it’s usually discovered that a tank is empty when you are in the process of cooking, and we couldn’t wait. Also, we never got refunded for the propane tank after being told we would be more than once.
Unfortunately Hurricane Debby cut our trip short, but overall we enjoyed the house and location. However, we probably will not rent this house again.
