Excellent stay at this little gem

The rooms are spacious and have literally everything - towels for the pool, for the bathroom, bathrobes and slippers, coffee machine + capsules, even a Bluetooth speaker! Breakfast - delicious! Laundry service - fast and very reasonably priced! All in all, it’s very convenient, you are well looked after by the staff also!

Nothing to be honest. It’s not that central but on a bike, you are in town within 10 minutes!

Excellent stay with immersive jungle views

Great stay, the apartment is very comfortable and the staff is easily reachable, goes above and beyond to help with any inquiries. The room is very private and you have a beautiful view and hear of the jungle and surprisingly there were no mosquitoes. Beautiful pool and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again

The most amazing stay, feel like you’re in nature but still have a nice, clean and comfy room.

As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe here. The staff is super sweet and helpful! The sound of water running through river and nature is what you wake up to. It’s so beautiful here and the energy is just amazing. I extended my trip here and would only stay in this hotel when I visit Ubud.

Doing some things right but needs serious improvement

The location was good and the staff were friendly when they were actually present to ask a question to. The design is nice and modern in theory but also looks unfinished in important areas aka the ceiling and walls. Apart from the mold it was clean otherwise.

Like many other places in Bali this property sadly has a serious mold issue. I had to change rooms because of this. The second room was visibly an improvement but still smelt of mold. I was given a dehumidifier which helped the smell of damp. Really they need to have a dehumidifier running in every room all the time. Unsealed concrete is an interesting choice in such a humid place and I think is adding to the issues. The property needs some work if it wants to keep a good rating. It would be nice if the alley was more inviting or if the reception had accessible staff. Many times there was no one to speak with and my in person request for help with bags at 5.45am when I checked out early was completely forgotten. No phone in the rooms or call button to even get assistance.

Quiet hidden spot in the jungle

The location was super quirky and very tucked away, a bit out of the city which I liked and close to really good coffee places, local eating spots and fancier places like Reina Jungla. Really felt you were deep in the jungle and away from tourists and noise. The design of the hotel is very modernist, all concrete and glass. Cheap 10 mins Grab scooter ride or taxi to the main hub of Ubud.

We had a power cut for half a day which was annoying as we had to work, but outside the control of the hotel.

Very comfortable small hotel, outside the town center

The room was large and with a nice view to the pool and forest. Very comfortable overall.

The location isn’t great. It’s at the end of a side road, and a tiny path leads from the end of the road to the hotel. It’s a 20 minute walk to get to the town center, which can be uncomfortable with the heat.

Nice room and great staff but not for us

The location was beautiful, very nice pool, very friendly staff, rooms were cute, nice breakfast.

We arrived and had to walk through a muddy alley all the way to the hotel as the car could not enter the road. When we arrived we realized we could not stay at the property as it had very steep (and partly slippery) stairs leading down to the pool and breakfast area. My aunt travels with us and cannot walk well and cannot walk down any stairs. This was not clear when booking. We asked for two nights to be compensated because we could not stay three nights with my aunt stuck in her room continuously. The staff assured us the two nights would be compensated and we only had to pay for the night we stayed. So we trusted that and left the next day. Only to have a back and forth with booking and the property which included a rude mail (from the management?). We finally got compensated for one night only. This place is not recommended if you can’t climb steep stairs all the time. It also does not have a restaurant so if you arrive in the evening make sure you arrange for dinner. They suggested take away but the order got cancelled because of the rain after waiting for it for a while.

Charming

If you plan to stay in Ubud, look no further. The facilities are clean, there are markets nearby. The pool was crystal clear. Honestly, there were no insects even. The view from the balcony to the jungle was surreal. Away from traffic noise and everything, in this place you feel one with nature. The staff was very sensitive to the customer needs, delivering quality and on time.

Beautiful space

The CIVYT was everything I wanted for my first stay in Ubud and more! The room and overall setting was absolutely gorgeous with intentional stylish design, even to the most minute details. It was clean, beautiful and everyone was so kind, helpful and accommodating. I felt so lucky to have found The CIVYT and is the only place I would stay in Ubud!

Beautiful place, I would like to go back

I loved my room, the bathroom, cleanliness - I stayed in Bali many times in many different places and I can say even some high price hotels sometimes have smelly towels I guess due to the humidity, this is the first thing I notice so towels smelled clean. I did not have any pests and my balcony was beautiful. Area is quiet which is great. I like that there is a speaker in the room also and coffee machine. Friendly nice staff and breakfast was good too. I asked for plain yoghurt an they accommodated it too. Pool was also clean and beautiful

I only did not like that the AC was loud. I was lucky because at night it was not that hot so I could turn it off, but if it was a hot night probably it would disturb me, as I am a light sleeper.

Perfect stay at 3min away from the city center

Really beautiful place immersed in nature. It’s 3min away from the city center with the scooter but can’t hear anything but the sounds of nature. Gary, the owner is super nice and he made our stay just perfect. There’s a common kitchen you can use for lunch or dinner and to cut some fruit or whatever which is nice. Pool is really nice.

Hele mooie en schone kamer! Locatie is prima, net buiten het centrum van Ubud. 5 minuten met de Grab scooter. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en denkt met je mee. Ik had 1 dag waarop ik door een activiteit geen gebruik kon maken van het ontbijt. Ik kreeg de avond van te voren een to go ontbijt. Het ontbijt is ook erg lekker!

Incroyable

La chambre est moderne et spacieuse. Elle dispose d’un balcon exposé au soleil toute l’après midi. L’hôtel est à 20 minutes à pieds du centre ce qui permet d’être au calme. Les chambres sont confortables et très bien équipées! On voit que l’hôtel est récent !

Het personeel is niet betrokken. Ook vaak niet te vinden als je ze nodig had. De kamers vind ik niet erg schoon en er is geen ruimte om je koffer ergens op te zetten. Daarnaast zijn er maar weinig ligbedjes, en deze waren ook nog niet eens schoon.

Een idyllische plek waar ik je eigenlijk de hele dag zou willen blijven.

Het was een oase van rust. Met een drukke levende stad als Ubud is het voor mij nodig om een prettige plek te hebben om tot rust te komen. Ik had geen betere locatie en omgeving kunnen wensen.

Alles beviel mij. Maar het enige punt wat ik zou kunnen bedenken is dat het voor een taxi lastig is om je af te zetten bij de ingang omdat er niet/moeilijk gekeerd kan worden.

Perfect verblijf gehad! Prachtige kamer in de natuur. In werkelijkheid nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Goede communicatie met de eigenaar. Goed ontbijt.
