So close to the supermarkets. Not too long a walk to the ferry, even for seniors as it was all flat. Beautifully tree -lined streets.
The host provided laundry liquid, which was appreciated. The location suited us as walkers to town very much, and the bus stop and train station is pretty much across the road.
It was a two-storied building with wooden floors.....the younger guests and children upstairs ran around on our ceiling very late and into the early morning...1am on one occasion. And they also used the pool and sat outside talking quite late. A curfew of 10pm, even 11pm, would be appreciated as a quiet time till at least 7am. Otherwise the building and floors were fine.

The location is central to Cairns, Bus and Train 5min. away. The accommodation is a Queenslander, and not a motel, which I liked it, clean close to transport, I din't need to hire a car. Kitchen was good and the bathroom had a large shower.
Some thing to hang the clothes, even some books on the door or wall.
