L'appartement était très bien situé et confortable.

Je n'avais pas lu le message pour récupérer les clés avant que nous soyons devant la porte d'entrée en pensant que ce serait un code d'accès. Malheureusement il fallait récupérer les clés dans une laverie située dans une autre rue, à plus de dix minutes à pieds. Donc je suis restée devant la porte avec les valises pendant que mon ami est allé chercher les clés. La douche était également plus petite que je pensais et l'une des chambres donnaient directement sur une rue au rdc donc je n'ai pas ouvert les volets pendant notre séjour.

Along with all other travelers, the location in center of Old Town was ideal. As 82-year-olds, we appreciated the location on the ground floor making it easy to enter with suitcases and later after enjoyable walking tours. The quiet outside patio was a perfect setting for meals, coffee or a glass of wine. The kitchen had all conveniences required for a three-day stay.

The main difficulty is obtaining and RETURNING the key to enter the apartment. Host Alex could not greet us on site when we arrived by bus before 8 pm. But at the bus station we arranged for a taxi to stop briefly at the laverie (laundromat) pickup location where we quickly obtained the key. However, returning the key on checkout was a nightmare. On Saturday, no Ubers or taxis were available from near the apartment. We had to walk 20 minutes lugging our bags to the laverie, and then find an Uber from that location to arrive back at the station in time for our train departure. Suggestion for future guests (a) have Alex or designate come to apartment at checkout to receive key, thus avoiding the extremely inconvenient requirement to go back to the laverie, or (b) have Alex arrange a taxi or Uber at a precise location on departure to pass by the laverie to return the key. Other inconvenience was the lack of guidance on turning on the radiator given the cold temperature. The written instructions do not include the requirement that the turn on switch is behind the radiator near the floor. Alex did not answer our telephoned question until our stay was nearly finished. Third, the euros 500 deposit for potential damage is exaggerated. Other than these three items (particularly RETURING THE KEY), the stay in Vannes was enjoyable.

The apartment was wonderful. It was light and airy. In a great location. Very well equipped kitchen with very comfortable bed. And in a quiet but central location in the old town.

The key collection location on the YouTube clip would not translate into English subtitles. A simple instruction that stated the Laundromat address for the Keybox would be helpful. The rest was visual.
