Issues with cleanliness

We left after seeing the amount of mold in bathroom shower.

Extensive mold was found in bathroom shower. We left after seeing the amount of mold and booked into another accommodation in Vannes. Host didn’t acknowledge the mold issue. I took some photographs, as shown below. Booked this place because of the high Booking rating so really surprised at what we found. But anyway, that’s how it goes sometimes.

Excellent roomy duplex apartment in the centre of Vannes

Fantastically spacious and airy apartment in a great location, within walking distance of the town centre, bars, restaurants and the market. Despite its central location, the apartment was very quiet and we couldn’t hear any noise from the street at all. The bathroom was very large for an apartment this size and the shower was great. There’s a separate loo downstairs which was a bonus. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and black out blinds kept the light out at night. Nicholas was a wonderful host, and I really think we were fortunate to have booked his apartment. It couldn’t have been better, and I’d definitely stay again.

The bedroom and bathroom were bright and spacious. The location was excellent, a short walk to the city centre and the port. Nicolas was an extremely responsive host and made our stay more pleasant.

The kitchen was poorly provisioned - tea towel not clean, no sponges or paper towel, only two coffee pods for three people for 1 week.

Splendid Vannes accomodation.

Clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet and an excellent host. Great location for old quarter. An Irish bar and supermarket are opposite. Photocopying and bar/tabac almost next door. Parking inexpensive for each 2 or 3 hour period almost behind apartment. It does not make sense to stay in a hotel when this property is available.

Not a problem for us but stairs make it difficult for people with walking issues. Wheelchairs impossible. Again not a problem but balcony would be nice.

Very good accommodation in the town of Vannes for a short stay.

Very good town placed accommodation which suited our purposes. Bed, linens and bathroom were excellent and the host was very helpful and recommended some local restaurants. The one we chose was one of the best meals we had eaten in Brittany.

Could not park at the property so slightly difficult to pack and unpack although we were directed to free parking about 4 minutes walk away. Although there was a little kitchenette it would be difficult to cook anything more than a very simple meal. We would definitely recommend for a short stay.
