We stayed in the Lido Beach Apartment in late September. The apartment was ideal for two of us. It is on a quiet street close to a good range of restaurants, shops and public transport and it was really close to the Lido beach. It was about 25mins walk to the old town along the seafront. And it was about 20 mins walk to the Maria Pia beach which has softer sand. Elena, the host, could not have been more helpful, meeting us very late at night as our flight was delayed. Any requests for assistance were quickly dealt with. Details for local restaurants were provided (all very good) along with a map of the area. Grazie mille, Elena for a lovely stay in Alghero.

very nice host:)
I was missing small kitchen in that kind of apartment.
There was microwave, coffemachine and sink on the balcony only - little bit difficult to prepare food for baby there:) but ok if you go to restaurants
