The apartment, simple but well-kept, recently renovated, is located in the lido area of Alghero right on the beach front. The neighborhood is served by restaurants, bars, newsagents and tobacconists, supermarkets, pharmacies, car rental .. The historic center can be reached through a pleasant walk along the sea in 20 minutes on foot or in 5 minutes by bus that stops in front of the house.
The house has a paved garden where you can have breakfast lunches and dinners.

Maria the host is very nice but spoke limited English. We communicate in French. The cute apartment is locate in a very nice area. Also sun umbrella and beach towel are provided.
Beach is just in front of the apartment, every things is 5 minutes walk, restaurants, grocery etc.
Have to park on the street, blue zone pay parking and white zone is free. 25 minutes walk to Alghero Old town.
15 minutes drive from airport.

Great location for beach,restaurants and old town of Alghero. All within walking distance. Very peaceful at night. The apartment was classed as self catering but for us lacked a few important points. For cooking there was only a 4 ring gas top. Would have liked a few more appliances like an oven,microwave,grill and cupboard space for food storage.
Maria ,the host was lovely,always smiling and helped us out massively in organising a taxi to the airport for us. To get the most out of the vacation a basic understanding of Italian is needed as it seemed majority of tourists were Italian.
To summarise a fab little place that could do with a few more mod cons.

My 2 daughters and I stayed here and it was perfect for us. What I loved most was that it’s right across from the beach but still very quiet since it’s set just away from the road. It’s a quick stroll along the beach to the port and the beautiful old town.Maria Antonietta’s mom kindly showed us everything and even left freshly picked apricots and couchettes. She also informed me about events going on in town. Very considerate!
