Luiza Guest House

The breakfast was delicious (not free). And the host was very kind. He invited us to sit with him and his friends one night and we had a great time. The room was very comfortable, new and clean. It had a beautiful view, was located pretty close to everything (only if you have a car though). He let us do our laundry there for free! There’s a very cute dog there and they also make dinner for you if you request. I definitely recommend staying with this very kind family :)

There was an awkward mess up with the rooms that we were meant to stay in. We ended up having to pay more than we were expecting but he was very kind about it, so it’s okay.

Great host family, fabulous set-up in a vineyard.... wine sampling available (as was, less excitingly, breakfast and evening meal!) Room ticked all the boxes, air-conditioned, well-lit, hot shower, comfortable bed. Just when I thought it could not get any better - host passed me a coffee and arranged a lift for me back to Yerevan.

It was all great for me. Some people might prefer to stay in village? I walked to the village and it was no great shakes from what I saw - I would recommend the ambience of being a little bit out, sleeping surrounded by grapes with a wine cellar beneath you and an friendly Armenian family treating you as a friend.
