Cosy little cabin

It is in an ideal location exactly what I needed with 2 children. It was comfortable and cosy we had a lovely 1 night wtay

The shower wasn't very powerful and I really struggled to get the temperature right... probably just me but it was either boiling or freezing.

Great location close to racecourse.

Convenient location, spacious, nice decor. Nice to have tea and coffee but would be great if milk was there too.

Little patio area not very private.shower wasn't very powerful, bed was a bit too soft for us. Had some small issues with sink draining, loose toilet seat and flickering lights but have reported to owner so hopefully these will be fixed.

It's a cosy, quiet cabin with everything you need and Nik looks after everything excellently from her instructions to the car parking permit. A really easy process. Also, Nik has made a very attractive and comfortable room.

As others have noted, the bathroom is a shower room and the water doesn't drain too well but it's no big deal.

Nik's Cabin Retreat is a really cosy and comfortable place to stay. It's a very pleasant room with homely furnishings and all the facilities you need. It's quiet at night with no noise at all. There is a lovely bed / sitting room and also a patio which looks out onto Nik's back garden but it's very private and peaceful. Also, Nik looks after the whole process of booking, car parking and access very professionally and also friendly.

Cosy space, close to the centre of Warwick with free parking near the cabin

Great location for us and car parking free and easy to park near the property. Communication with the owner was excellent and she was really really helpful.

The bathroom/wet room floor was constantly wet due to poor drainage and it would have taken some time to clear the water into the drain using the scraper. The shower was also a bit tricky to get to the right temperature.

Great quiet location 10 mins walk from the centre with a couple of good pubs even closer, free street parking with a permit kindly organised by the lovely host.

Only thing i could slightly fault was the wet room style bathroom( i don't like them!) but for a night or two it's absolutely fine 🙂

Overall lovely cabin and comfortable stay

We had a lovely short break staying at the cabin for two nights, the sofa bed was perfect for our son especially being low to the floor so he could easily climb in and out. The fridge was a bonus and very convinient for our stay. We had a comfortable stay and loved the excellent location, we have recomended the cabin to my husband's parents who want to visit Warwick next year, highly recomend to anyone.

Fantastic location. Close to racecourse and town centre. Very cosy, warm and everything you need for a short stay. Host very helpful. Worked extremely well for 3 friends spending a night together in Warwick. Good price.

Easy access, clean tidy well designed space

No way to control the heating. It got very cold around midnight with no way to change it. I did notice at one point the unfloor heating came on bit not for long enough and came on too late as it was already cold inside. My only request was for it to be clean and warm 🤷🏾‍♂️

As other people have said the unkempt laneway to get to The Cabin, the problem with drainage in the shower and the inadequate supply of crockery and cutlery.

Such a bright and airy place. Very easy access to the town and castle.

Not so keen on the access to the place. The path is overgrown and made you wonder what kind of accommodation you had chosen. The place on the whole was clean, but I had a couple of issues such as, the dustpan had muck in it from a previous guest, and there were corners that weren’t clean. Lacked a proper cooking space. Having said this, we would stay here again, it just lacked those little touches

The property was not clean, the mattress was very stained, pillows were flat and stained, fridge was dirty with leftover crumbs. Entry to the back garden cabin, was full of weeds and unimpressive. Very disappointed, was not as the pictures suggested.

Great location to explore Warwick

Location was great. Comfy beds and decent space. The towels were wonderfully soft. Free parking a bonus too.

Lack of cutlery or useable crockery. Tiny bowls that were not suitable for son’s cereal-had to buy own. Also only one dessert spoon and one teaspoon. No proper cups for tea/coffee.

The place was nice looking. The beds were really comfy.

The bathroom did not meet our expectations. It was very hard to set the right temperature of the shower. There was no shower curtain, so the whole floor was covered in water. The water was also flowing down the drain very slowly.

Convenient location

The cabin is in an excellent location very quiet but easy walking distance to the town and for exploring. In was nice to have a small patio for sitting out.

When using the shower the water did not drain away very well so it was rather wet in there and took ages to dry out, a squeeze floor mop would be useful. The patio area could be made much nicer.

Such a quaint cabin! The host, Niki, was the most fantastic lady, so friendly and amiable, nothing was too much trouble, the cabin was a tad surprising, when we first arrived we thought we were in the wrong place, we followed the directions we had been given and was getting a little disheartened as we were told to find the accommodation up a back alleyway, but, we were so pleasantly surprised when we found it, the cabin was spacious, extremely clean and tidy and had a wet room, tv, fridge, coffee, tea facilities, a chilled bottle of wine, a sofa bed and, the most comfortable double bed I have ever slept in in my entire life, it was phenomenal It was situated in the heart of Warwick with the famous Castle literally a 5 min walk away, right opposite was Warwick Racecourse All in all, a right little gem

If I had to be negative I'd say maybe the alleyway could do with a tidy up, but, that's not down to the host, it's just unfortunate that that's where it's situated

Felt quite strange to go down the alley looking for the cabin. It was quite cluttered and awkward! Inside was lovely except it was quite dusty and the floor was quite gritty - I noticed on going to use the shower in bare feet.

Very disappointed.

The Cabin was very tired looking, un ironed faded duvet on bed, hotpotch of furniture, no hot water in bathroom basin although several people had pointed this out before. No TV - only Netflix - we are not interested in films but this was not pointed out at time of booking. There was a fridge with a board on top which was supposed to be the kitchen area, microwave in the wardrobe! Wouldn't think that would meet Health & Safety standards. Not one drawer to store anything and only a tiny hanging rail which we could hardly reach. The shower does not drain away so there is water all over the floor even when you go to use the toilet at night. Very disappointing. The location is why we booked it and the pictures looked lovely but it fell very short of the image above. The whole place needs a overhaul and a good clean. Nicky was lovely but we won't be booking again or recommend it to anyone.

The whole vibe and tranquility of the cabin was even better in real life than the pictures. The bed was so comfortable, everything was thought of to enable a fabulous stay. I couldn't hear a thing at night. Only a short walk into Warwick. Lovely helpful host made our stay go smoothly and stress free.

There was nothing really that I didn't like, except a slight worry that I would crack tiles in bathroom sink due to tap.

Worst place We have ever stayed needs a complete make over

The property was poor, dirty not good for a family. No facilities to even make a sandwich on . Bowls , cups , knives & forks dated No kitchen sink had to use bathroom sink Towels were old & grey . There was mould in the teapot ( 1st arrived) Bedding was dated We travel quite a lot & this place was the worst we have stayed at . Definitely needs a complete make over and refresh Andrew & Vicky
