Great accomodation with plenty of space and a very welcoming host.

Instructions provided were easy to follow and the property was easy to locate. The host met me at the property as soon as I arrived and was very welcoming. The property was very clean and had great facilities.

Wonderful , quiet Rural break in a homely cottage

Elsa is the hostess with the mostest. We visit Norfolk every couple of months & have tried various rentals in the area but now we have found Promises, we simply won’t stay anywhere else. Always Immaculately clean , lovely property in a quiet rural setting. The house has everything you could need for short and longer says. Very well equipped & lovely welcoming touches such as milk in the fridge, cookies/cake and drink.

A beautiful countryside escape

This is a beautiful property with so many thoughtful details for a perfect relaxing escape. The property is incredibly spacious-- even more so than it looks in the pictures. It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I have never stayed in a place so well stocked with amenities, they have thought of absolutely everything you could need. The kitchen in particular is incredibly well thought out and had every utensil we could wish for. We really enjoyed our stay here and found ourselves wishing we had booked for longer. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and really helpful. The complimentary finishing touches were so thoughtful and kind. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here (and have already booked to return ourselves).

A hidden gem

The photos don't do it justice. It is a lovely cottage. The little extras they did were very much appreciated after a long drive. It was a home from home. Excellent value for money. A lovely hidden gem.

Elsa, the host was superb. So friendly, helpful and happy to accommodate all of our wishes. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Complementary milk, tea, coffee, cereals etc. as well as all complementary toiletries. Excellent.

Lovely host and very clean accommodation. This accommodation is very large and spacious as others have said, the photos do not do it justice. Lots of little extras and a lovely reading room. Rural location, with parking. Very quiet. Perfect for couples for a night away.

A rustic home from home.

I was wary at first because of such an affordable price for a whole house! We arrived and were met by the very friendly and bubbly Elsa. She is an extremely welcoming and warm host and welcomed us to our "home". She had thought of everything, from hot chocolate and marshmallows, to a library (you read that right!) bottles of water by the bed, little chocolates next to the bed, cereal, milk, and free snacks. The house is very spacious, very clean and extremely cosy with a gorgeous fireplace and a comfortable bed. There's an ironing board, extra pillows and a hairdryer - we were only staying for one night, sadly, but you could easily stay there for a week as all the essentials are there. When I read the reviews, I thought it was too good to be true, but it was that good my partner wanted to move in.

Easy to find and in a great location - 10 min walk to Shipdham and car ride to Dereham and extremely spacious. The owners of the property were extremely welcoming & helpful and provided a restful environment with lovely touches (provided bread, milk and jam on arrival and other treats). If you are self catering, is well equipped for cooking.

With such wonderful cooking facilities would have expected a dish washer though this would not deter me from coming again because the rest of the place was exceptional.

Superbly comfortable stay in the centre of Norfolk

The property was spotlessly clean, well maintained, provided everything you could need for a comfortable stay - and was HUGE. Much bigger than we were expecting. Our welcome was second to none, the property was serviced partway through our week's stay, and there were treats provided that we certainly weren't expecting. Fabulous!

This was our second visit and just as good as the first! We had a lovely warm welcome from our host who was exceptionally helpful. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean with great attention to detail. We had everything we needed.

A lovely stay that exceeded all my expectations.

The welcome from the owner was very warm. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. It is definitely hypoallergenic. It felt cosy and safe for a woman on their own - a home away from home. The location was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend to family and friends and would plan another stay there. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into what to supply for guests.

A lovely little break.

The rooms are huge! There is a lot of space. Elsa is very accommodating and a brilliant host. There isn’t a door to the en-suite but there is a separate toilet by the front door if needed.

Our thoughts on Primroses

Elsa (the host) gave us a warm and enthusiastic welcome, which was lovely. Primroses is a beautiful spacious property that meets all your needs. The added extras of bread, milk, preserves, sachets of drinks etc was a very nice touch. These acts of kindness raises the standards and it's this attention to detail offered by the hosts, which will want us to return again, if ever we're in the area. In our opinion, you will not be disappointed choosing to stay here. We are very well travelled and in our opinion we would say this is the quietest place we have ever stayed at. There was no road noise and we did not hear anything from the adjoining property (where Elsa and Adam live). That was a huge benefit which definitely elevated the comfort of our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with everything we needed. There was three areas where we could sit outside, the rooms were large especially the bedroom, which had lots of wardrobe space and a large chest of drawers. The cottage was all beautifully decorated, plenty of seating options inside as well. The WiFi was good too. It was lovely seeing lots of birds & rabbits in the garden in the morning We would definitely return if available. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. 😊

5 star accomodation with amazing hosts.

This is a 5 star property and there is absolutely nothing that we could wish more for here. Had we have known that this place was so good then we would have stayed for a week! The bedroom is huge with loads of wardrobe space. The ensuite has a good size bath with shower over it. The lounge diner is huge too and it has an open fire which would be awesome in the winter for sure. The kitchen has everything you need and if by any chance you were to find that there was something missing that you needed, then Adam & Elsa live next door! There is also a reading room with a book case loaded with various interesting books. The hosts Adam & Elsa couldn't be any more helpful, they are great people and we would have no hesitation in returning to their lovely property!

The slight downside is the location however, don't let that spoil your time here. You need to drive anywhere from here or have a good walk to the nearest bus stop to catch a bus to places of interest. We drove and this really didn't affect the good time that we had. If you just want to chill out and do nothing except enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding fields and maybe enjoy some local walking then this place is just great.

Our hosts,Adam and Elsa, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They were there to welcome us and the cottage was spacious and really well equipped. Beautiful location

We stay in different places each week for work and this was amongst the very best! A lovely check in and chat from Elsa. Huge space, cosy, clean, homely and everything was of such good quality. Everything you would want when staying away from home. Nice location - on our afternoon off we visited Thetford Forrest. Shame we aren’t in the area for work more! But we are in November so will try and book this place again.

See above - No dislikes - if I had to say something (and it is a small point!) is that there is no live UK TV so catch up apps have to be used.
