Very new built apartment, modern.

A bit far to walk to town centre.

The apartment is located in a convenient area, with most places relatively close by. The private parking behind a barrier was also very useful, as we could always find a place for the car. Having a washing machine and a drying rack was another advantage

The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. Before receiving the door codes, we had to complete an online form and transfer the tourist tax. This is inconvenient when travelling, especially if you only notice the message shortly before arriving. At many other apartments we have rented in Klaipėda, guests can enter first and complete these formalities afterwards. The electronic locks were also frustrating to use. The numbers have to be pressed very precisely, and the doors often did not open on the first attempt. A physical key or access card would be much easier and more reliable. We stayed on the ground floor and could clearly hear everyone entering the building and walking past the apartment. During the night, guests were sometimes trying repeatedly to enter the door code, which woke us up. Other visitors staying upstairs were also making noise until around 2 a.m. There were cars arriving late, people calling to each other and shouting through the windows, so it was difficult to sleep. The apartment and bathroom were functional, but the shower and some of the fittings felt cheaply made and not particularly well finished. The cleaning was acceptable, but not very thorough—we found small items left by previous guests, including bracelets and packaging. The apartment was also very minimally equipped. There were few cups, kitchen accessories or additional cleaning products compared with other apartments we have rented in Klaipėda. We asked for an extra duvet cover because an additional duvet was provided, but we were simply told that no duvet cover was available. No alternative solution was offered. Overall, the communication felt quite formal and impersonal, probably because the property is managed by a company rather than an individual host.
