Not for fancy travelers, exeptional privacy, superb host, perfect choice for bigger families.

Well, it is not fancy, you can find couple of lamps gone of, but it is a total privacy, and once you get used to the stairs and switches - nice place to stay. It has fully equiped kitchen, dishwasher, m-wave, it has a teracce, sauna and amasing host Valdone. We chose this place to have a family meeting during Christmas time and had the best one in years.

Superb

The place is a separate building with spacious rooms. It looks like it was built well. Unfortunately interior is aging now and some interior solutions were clearly made with cheap option in mind. Cleanliness was mostly ok, maybe with some less accessible places not in perfect condition. All amenities were present and functioning. There is fully functional kitchen with stove, sink, fridge, microwave and dining table. Plenty of sofas for relaxing. The balcony with furniture also provides convenient place for drying clothes. The building is located in quiet place. The beach is really close, few minutes walking distance. There are changing booths, lifeguards. There is also some entertainment further away. But we did not go there. As we visited that place during working days it was absolutely not crowded and rather clean. The beach itself is typical Baltic sea shore with pleasant fine sand. The sea port nearby may become a cause of suspicious smells sometimes. But water looks rather clean. The water is also typical Baltic sea water - cold and sometimes full of jellyfish and seaweed :) But what is not speciality of the place and one should not expect anything else from the Baltics. In short our family mostly enjoyed both staying and swimming.

The internet is very unstable. Do not expect more than email checking. Anything more demanding like web browsing was not reliable. YouTube worked sometimes. My wife also did not like pillows. Following was not a problem for us. But I would like to warn about few shortcomings which may be important to You. 1. The main bathroom with shower/bath is on ground floor while all the rest is on first and second floor. This may be cumbersome for older people and for families with small children. 2. It was already mentioned in other review but still worth mentioning. The first and second floors actually overlap as second floor is just a platform hanging over part of first floor. Hence there is an open vertical gap between them secured by rather low railing. So second floor does not look secure enough place for small kids. This configuration of the floors also makes ceiling rather low at some places. Me, 190cm tall person, had to tilt my head while going through doorways. 3. While living apartments are split into 4 rooms (2 on first floor and 2 on second) 3 of them are walk-through plus open gap between floors. This limits privacy and may be a problem for non-family visitors. 4. The path leading from the place to the beach brings You next to the edge of women-only nude range of the beach. As some women take definition of edge too literally and depending on your level of puritanism that may or may not cause some discomfort. :)
