Beautiful house with 2 large balconies and fantastic views. Everything you might need at very reasonable cost. Easy communication with hostess.

The house is in a great location for a holiday in Madeira (we found the north more interesting than the south). The house has good facilities and even dishwasher tablets and washing machine capsules are supplied. Gabriela the host is friendly and helpful. There are 2 TVs and the separate living room is comfortable and spacious. The terraces are great outdoor spaces with outdoor furniture and fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and the little chapel, Capelinha de Nossa Senhora de Fátima which sits above São Vicente and chimes the passing hours. We would definitely like to return to this property and would recommend it to friends.

The plumbing seemed to be a little delicate but Gabriela dealt with the little problem that arose. There are multiple keys for different parts of the property which could become a small irritant depending on your stance on security. Hire car is definitely needed but that would be the case staying anywhere in Madeira if you want to see the whole island, even if staying in Funchal
