Cosy, comfortable and clean

Great location. Very easy to access. I stayed in the family room (2x extra large double beds). The beds were absolutely amazing. If I hadn't had plans for the day I would have chilled out in the room all day. Lovely big windows which let in lots of light. Hosts were amazing and very easy to contact. Ample parking for all sized vehicles.

Best rooms that we’ve experienced in Ireland.

Our rooms were huge, great views, walking distance to pubs and restaurants, very clean and quiet, ample parking. We were there during hot weather and really appreciated having a top sheet to use when the duvet was too hot. Our bathroom had washcloths which are standard in USA but surprisingly scarce in Irish hotels.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

A Hidden Gem!

We were greeted and given so much awesome info from John who showed us our HUGE room. This place seriously had everything. John and Michelle go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. Located right in the middle of Doolin, walking distance everywhere. The best shower I have ever had in my whole life. Such a nice place to return to after biking the Aran Islands!

Well-appointed, comfortable, modern home that met our every need!

John & Michelle were terrific! They gave us great directions and suggestions for places to eat that offered music. The facility is modern, well-appointed, and designed with the traveler in mind; there are places to put your “stuff” in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom. The walk-in shower is roomy and had both a rain head and a flexible wand head. A table and mirror for applying make-up was a bonus for ladies. Every need was met by Michelle’s keen eye for details that made a stay at Greene Acres a delight.

I truly believe this was the perfect accommodation for the four of us!

Absolutely perfect!

Me and my partner recently had the pleasure of staying in Greene Acres in Doolin. From the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed into John and Michelle’s fabulous new home! They are amazing hosts with no task too big or too small and just all round lovely people. As the house is a new build everything is so clean, modern and really well presented. The beds and bed sheets are one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The room was so spacious with great views of beautiful Doolin and a location that couldn’t be better! Great value for money and I couldn’t recommend staying here enough. I hope to stay here again next time I visit.

Wonderful place, welcoming hosts

We felt very welcome in this new and nicely appointed accomodation.

Surprisingly, the weather was nice enough the time that we spent there but being Ireland, it can change every hour.

Position

Lack of communication from the host. Not available for assistance and when they were which was rarely reluctant to assist and help with directions. eg didn’t want to store my perishables in their fridge. Assist me with ringing a taxi and as it turned out the taxi driver didn’t know what house theirs was . Two other people I met that day were driven by their hosts to the same ferry I caught. Another couple on the ferry had their lunch made by their host. This is my fourth visit to Doolin and I will not stay at this accommodation again and advise my colleagues the same. A little effort is all it takes.

Super Luxury Room

The first thing I liked was how central this location was, right in the middle of Doolin it was one of the main reasons we picked Green Acres. When we arrived John greeted us and was very helpful he wanted to help us with our luggage. From the minute I walked into the hall I felt this house was pure luxury, the carpet up the stairs you would just sink in the pile it was absolutely beautiful to walk on. The bedroom was first impression absolutely beautiful there was tea and coffee facilities and biscuits for a snack. The room was beautifully decorated the bed was so comfortable it was that nice I took a picture of the label as I'm thinking of changing mine. The pillows were the nicest under your head and the bed linen was so soft and absolute luxury. The bathroom had all mod cons with extra toiletries under the sick if required. The house is very near the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch beach and we also got a ferry at Doolin pier to the Aran Islands. We were extremely happy with the location and in the evening we could walk to a restaurant and also to the local pubs that played amazing traditional music. The views out the windows were onto lovely green fields and felt totally relaxing. There was no breakfast but to me that was not a problem as there were lots of places two minutes walk to have breakfast. The room is definitely worth the money as you are getting an up market accommodation not your standard. I didn't want to get out of the bed as it was so comfy. We would like to thank John as he was so helpful and also to his wife Michelle for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. We will definitely be back. Brigid and Ger

Charming place to visit, will do it again soon enough.

Huge room with big windows, view on meadows with cute cows, very close to two awesome pubs. John and Michelle are very nice and helpful and I plan to visit again with next visitors (probably very soon).

Would be cool to have a little bit more hangers in the room for the towels and to be able to plug the hair dryer in the bathroom.
